I've been here more than a dozen times so feel able to judge. The plusses are: lovely rustic feel with plenty of plants, nice chlorine-free pool and the best baguettes in Siem Reap for breakfast. There's no lift so you could find clambering 3 floors up, and the wi-fi is somewhat erratic in its coverage. There's nothing in the fridges...

This hotel is a very lovely oasis in the center of Siem Reap. It is very close to the downtown and the night market. The room was large, well air-conditioned and comfortable. The bathroom had a tub and a separate large shower. The restaurant had substantial breakfasts with American style dishes that were well prepared and we also ate several...

My sister and I stayed at l'Auberge Mont Royal for three nights, in mid-December 2011, along with her 8-year-old twins and my 17-year-old. Mr. Prim is a fabulous host. We were picked up at the airport by two tuk-tuk drivers - including the imcomparable Pheng Phannara (Ra) who became our tour guide for the next three days! l'Auberge is a...

Stayed there on our first trip to Siem Reap and am staying there again over Xmas. Big rooms, good location, great staff. Apparently a night market has opened up since our last stay so even better.

In Cambodia it seems you can spend anywhere from $5 to $500 for a hotel room, probably more. I was slightly hesitant to book something as cheap as $37 (or a little more for a nicer room, which I don't think was available for my dates). But in Siem Reap your dollar goes much further, and while the Auberge is...

We booked into this hotel because it was recommended in a book on responsible tourism in Cambodia. We stayed here three nights and loved it. We were picked up at the airport, as promised, and ended up hiring the same tuk-tuk driver who picked us up for two days of taking us to the temples closest to Siem Reap. The...

Mr. Prim runs a lovely family style hotel that is great value for money. It has well done rooms although bathrooms are large but the water was not very hot. The staff is friendly and do a great job of arranging guides for temple tours,Angkor and beyond, There is no elevator and the rooms do not have wi fi. For...
