We booked this in December of 2014 and arrived in Siem Reap to see a guy waiting for us at the bus station with our name and hotel name on a sign. They were there to tell us The Big Yellow House does not exist anymore. They drove us the wrong way on a big road taking us to other...

Tucked away from the city the house is located where the locals stay, awesome with whole lot of comfort with friendly & helpful staffs. One of the reasons we enjoyed the trip is because of the Yellow House which gave us a localized trip and good friends. Would love to go back anytime without a second thought!

I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The rooms were very clean and the staff always friendly and supportive. In contrast to previous reviews I really enjoyed the location of the guesthouse as it is just a little of the beaten track and offers nicer views to daily life of local people than staying in the centre....

The idea of qualifying young people from rural areas for the tourism sector convinced me to book at "The big yellow house". Additionally, the few but almost all positive reviews added to my interest in the project and the guesthouse. However, when we arrived, after a helpful pickup by a tuk tuk from the busstation, and a very shaky trip...

I stayed at this B&B for 2 nights with my girlfriend, we both loved it! The staff is very helpful and the manager, Eddie Roohan, does his best to improve the service day after day. This is a new place and the staff are willing to help beyond the call of duty. One of the guy woke up at 4am two days in a row to open the gate so I can go to the sunset at Angkor Wat. A little off the centre of Siem Reap off dirt road but they do offer pick up...

Fabulous greeting by the helpful and knowledgeable staff give an excellent first impression of this hotel. Situated 5 minutes walk of the centre of Siem Reap on a quiet street. It has a lot to offer: new building, fresh and clean rooms with AC, TV, hot shower and very good breakfast. Inexpensive and excellent value for money. I couldn't recommend...

The Good: -The service! This is a training facility for future hospitality workers, and they try their hardest to please. They are so nice that I hate to find any fault with their facility. -The beds are new (but quite firm -- like most hotel beds in Asia) -The furniture is neat and attractive -Reduced-rate ($1 into town) are available...
