Of the five hotels that we stayed in on Gate 1's inaugural Discovery (small group) Tour of SE Asia, this was one of the best and newest! Our room on the 2nd floor was somewhat compact, but stylish with both a shower and a bathtub! The large bed was both comfortable and supportive! The restaurant, where we had a complimentary...

Overall this is a nice hotel. Free wifi. Nice happy hour. Good location. Up to date with attractive private and public spaces but the beds are like sleeping on the stones at Angkor Wat. If you like extremely firm mattresses you'll be fine but if you are used to a more forgiving one, you will be uncomfortable.

I visited this hotel in December 2012 and I was very impressed. The hotel was in a great location, staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was delicious, there were wonderful facilities and a beautiful room + view! The only downside was that laundry was a bit overpriced and Wi-fi was terrible to connect to.

To start with, the staff were rude and unhelpful. They were not even able to supply me with a tourist map of siem reap. The Internet was very bad and did not work at all the first 24 hours I was there (again, the staff seemed unconcerned). They state on their website that they arrange transport to and from the...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Within walking distance to the night market and pub street. The hotel was clean and very accommodating. Most staff spoke decent English. In the US this hotel would be triple the price. Booked on Hotels.com and was able to get a deluxe room for $79. The pool is nice and the deluxe room had...

Hard to believe this is #74 in a relatively small town. Stayed in March 2012 as part of a group (MBA seminar) so hard to speak to the value as it was group booking for a 2 week Thailand/Cambodia Tour. Stayed 4 nights with husband - also student on the tour. Overall an nice and easy stay - Wi-Fi was...

This is a lovely place to stay. Rooms are a good size and kept immaculately clean. Public areas are excellent, with a good choice of lounges and bars as well as an extensive outside area around the pool with a bar/café. We found staff to be very friendly and attentive in all areas of the hotel. The food was of...

An very warm and welcoming hotel.....they had organised a free pick up from the airport upon arrival in an air conditioned van. Once we got there we were given cold towels and a drink and as we finished our drinks we were informed that our room was ready.....which was very efficient on their part. Our room brilliant, we had a...

I was last in Siem Reap and Angkor Wat 16 years ago in 1987. At that time it was a sleepy little town with just a few hotels. At that time, the hotel I stayed in (booked as part of a high class tour) was one of the crummiest hotels I ever stayed in. This year, my wife and I...
