We had no idea what to expect when we got off the plane in Siem Reap for the first time, but a friendly representative from the hotel was waiting for us with an air conditioned van. The staff was excellent, making sure we were well looked after and helping us to see and do everything we wanted to. You don't...

Beautiful resort with the friendliest staff I have ever come across. We had a 2 bedroom bungalow which was spacious, very clean and most comfortable. The cons, the place is boring as, location sucked and the constant smell of rubbish burning made me sick. I personally would not stay there again coz the hotel being a 5 star rating I...

The hotel is bit out of town and there are a few issues but the staff are great. Volay was particularly helpful and always friendly and accommodating, even when when we were tired and grumpy from travelling. Our room had a bit of a mouldy odour, the shower was cold and the airconditioner freezing or off. However these are pretty...

The hotel is categorized as a 4.5-5 star hotel. I think this is definitely open for discussion. The hotel lobby is nice and so is the outside appearance. Checkin is nice, they put you in a different room while serving you a tea. This is also when a spray type of smell starts to notice you. In the beginning I...

We spent 5 nights at the Royal Angkor Resort at the beginning of December2013. Although the hotel was busy, it still felt quiet and private. Service was good at all times. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the airport with a free shuttle service and about a 15 minute tuk-tuk ride to Pub Street which costs about...

Our family of 4 stayed @ the Royal Angkor in November 2013. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony facing the pool. The room was large and the extra bed we had requested was comfy. Breakfast was an excellent spread and a mix of both Cambodian and western dishes. The pool was large and our kids had fun...

Positives : room size, breakfast, service. Negatives: location to town, noise from neighbouring establishments. We were here late Dec and there were signs in the lift apologising about the noise levels at night. First night we got home to a rock concert in full blast until 2am, which repeated for the 3 nights we were there. there is a large...

First I must start off by saying I really hate to have to write this review because the hotel management really tried hard to make things right but even ending up in the Presidential Villa for 3 nights can't take away from the fact that they have a rodent problem in the hotel. As part of a 3 1/2 week...
