It has a nice pool to relax and drink a beer, but the shared toilets are always dirty and we ran away from there when we saw a huge rat poo over one of the beds in our room. It was in the top floor, the rooms are made with bamboo and all of them are connected with the same... More

Not good!! Bedbugs, water leeking from the toilet, light rooms(no dark curtains). Bar closed, swimming pool falling apart. Breakfast= eggs and some fruit and really slowly before serving. In potential it could be something but for now dont go there!!

RUDE STAFF AND DID NOT FEEL SAFE! Arrived at 7pm with our big bags and the lady at reception just sat there and didn't even say hello, we thought this was very rude. I said hello first, checked in the she said two minutes, after waiting for over 5 minutes she said that she did not have the double room... More

A place that would suit most people; peaceful, uncrowded with great garden setting. Comfortable beds (not so common in se Asia) upstairs rooms especially nice. A chilled out bar area near a small pool, hammocks and reclining chairs and an outside pool table. Very easy going. Reception staff especially helpful, speak good English and happy to arrange stuff for visitors.

Pros: Terrific pool and garden area, free cooked-to-order breakfast, wonderful staff, quiet location, rooms are cleaned each day Cons: The bedding was not in good condition- quite yellowed, and had holes, cigarette burns and stains, and the bottom sheet was too small for the bed and constantly came off the mattress- it was difficult to enjoy the awesome 4 poster... Home away from home. I planned on staying here for one week and it turned into a month and a half. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and has an extremely helpful staff. The location is ideal, being within walking distance to the markets. As someone who works from their computer I found the outside atmosphere to be ideal. It... More

This was going to get top marks, the rooms are nice and comfortable and clean, breakfast was simple but good, staff are friendly. What I'm marking it down for though is the 3am wake up we received from music in the bar. We were fast asleep and were woken to "Brimful of Asha" being played at top volume which was... More
