As lone female traveller my experience was all positive. The hosts were most accommodating to my needs / requests. The place was clean, quiet and safe. Wifi was slow in the room however fixed that problem by sitting in the dining area. The bed was comfortable and room was toasty warm for a Caribbean woman.

Great place to stay one or a few nights in Punta Arenas. A few blocks away from the central square and close to restaurants and the supermarket. My room including its private bathroom was clean and well equipped, the bed was comfortable. I got upgraded for free from a single room to a more spaceous twin room without additional cost....

I would like to give a good report for the Shangri-La, because I think they really deserve it! The room I slept in was really comfortable, the shower hot and powerful, everything was super.clean. But the best was the welcoming and super-helpful way of the owners. I got a breakfast at 5:30 AM, they even made some kind of lunch...

A very normal hostel hidden in the street. Bathroom tap is noisy when taking shower. Wifi is slow though we sit near the router. As a foreign tourist, VAT should be exampted (we stay only 3 days), but the hostel is lack of certificate, so they could not do so. It is funny to have the answer and it's not...

We arrived unexpectedly in Punta Arenas having taken the bus from Puerto Natales late in the evening. With no pre-arranged accommodations we looked for a hostel close to the bus station as we were in transit and planned to take the bus to Ushuaia the next day. We found the Shangrila close to the bus offices and were greeted by...
