Hotel itself is trying to be western but the Chinese style is coming through. What makes it nice is the location. Nearby the main walking street and at a busy main road so it's convenient to reach and get around from there. Ask for a room facing the back.

I stayed at the Fangzhiyuan branch, which is at 149 North Siming Road. Booked a twin bed room, reasonable size, with all the expected facilities (tv, kettle, free bottled water and toiletries). The thing I didn't like is that the bathroom walls are made of glass, though there are 'frosted' parts. For some reason, the toilet area in that bathroom... More

This hotel has a great location in near Zhongshan pedestrian street in downtown Xiamen. It is within walking distance to both it, and the ferry to Gulang-yu. The hotel is ok. The rooms are as you would expect from a budget hotel in China: small, but with good air-con, hot water, and wifi. The buffet breakfast was Chinese style, but... More

I like this hotel for good place. Not far big parks. Not far center. Cheap price. Much shops, markets of fruits and vegetables. The breakfasts very good. Wi fi in numbers. I think cheap price for good numbers for this place of city. Personal not speak in English - only lobby. But it normal for xiamen.

A relatively new hotel but rooms are small with very simple breakfast. Walking along the road will leads you to the shopping area in 15minutes. Getting a taxi from hotel is never a problem. Good for budget stay.

Located close to the airport, this hotel is convenient to reach. However, being on the main road - there is nothing near by. No places to eat, nowhere to walk and go for basic necessities, etc. The rooms are ok ... bed is not comfortable and quite hard. Staff speaks some English. Breakfast is very bad .... if u r... More
