A lot of the other reviews have been highly accurate. I picked this hotel based on its location in regard to the train station. However, I later found out that the high speed rail drops you off at a station outside of downtown called the west station. So make sure you know what station you get dropped off at when...

I am very disappointed. The rooms look much nicer in the internet. They are old and the rooms and bath rooms need renovation badly ! Breakfast is served until 10 o'clock, BUT the tables are being cleared before that. Coffee is Nescafé and not freshly brewed coffee. I perticular did NOT LIKE the constant loud tv in the breakfast room....

This hotel is slightly better than other Chinese hotels, but the cost per one night was over 580元. If I compare that in some places I got 5* hotel western style for same even lower price it brings me to think that Hearbin is either expensive city or I just made a wrong choice. Yes they have a small swimmingpool...

This hotel was very old. I think the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel was hindered slightly by its age. The lobby was shared by other restaurants and commercial facilities so it was a little messy. Daily cleaning didn't do much for the old carpets and furniture, nor the bathroom. If you're a bit of a clean freak like me,...

I stayed here for five nights in April, 2015. The hotel, built in the 1990s is showing its age. For example, on my second day one of the two elevators in this 28-floor hotel broke. As a result, sometimes the wait for an elevator was 5 minutes or mote. I think that there are better hotels in Harbin, but this...

Stayed for 1 night for biz trip. Pluses: - good location; - good service and helpful staff; - have 2 not so bad restaurants in hotel - western and Chinese seafood. Minuses: - old rooms; - no any foreign TV channels; - not good equipped gym and cold swimming pool; - not very good sound isolation and lighting. Would recommend...

Stayed one night during the terribly "polluted" day. (Comforts) 1) Very strong and hot shower 2) Nicely located in downtown and walkable to restaurants 3) I liked the hard bed (which may not fit the Westerners) (Possible discomforts) 1) Only two elevators!!! I had to wait for 7-8 minutes during the morning. 2) Lousy breakfast that prevented me even from...

We were on a group tour and were only here a short time. The bed was good (we were bushed), the room was warm despite being frigid outside. Furnishings are smart but dated. The floor had boot prints that may have been from some painting taking place outside. I would prefer a warm breakfast (included). It must have been prepared...

Stayed here 4 nights with 1 other family. The room was spacious but furnishings were tired and worn out. Heating system was excellent, a must in frigid Harbin. The best part of this hotel was the food - breakfast buffet and the main restaurant all had excellent quality, freshly prepared food. The hotel touts it's "celebrity chef" and posts pictures...

“The spa is on the 14th floor and breakfast on the 13th. Reception will provide one free spa visit. We arrived at 9:55PM and the spa closes at 10:00PM. The pool is cold and the workout area does not look as nice as the other picture I see in another review.”
