I'm so happy we only stayed in Harbin one night; our stay was bad because of this hotel. Even though the staff here was friendly and the hotel was in walking distance to some of the sights (not the Ice Festival - we had to take a short taxi ride to get there), the room grossed me out. The carpet...

room for 70 euros was terribly dirty. Old, damaged furniture, carpet stained and full of holes, walls dirty and moldy. In room 331 no heating (-20 outside). Solving the problem by staff: we're sorry. That's all! Our window opened to the dirty magazine, restaurant dirty, stinky. The remnants of food on dirty tables. Nothing, absolutely nothing for Western tourists. Even...

I stayed at this hotel with my hubby and his mother for the Ice Festival this February. Front desk staff know basic english which was good. The rooms weren't great but if you plan to be out most of the day they are fine. No mini bar and no bottled water, only a kettle. We stayed in a twin room....

This was once an impressive and elegant establishment, I would guess about 10-15 years ago at the least, however, it has not been maintained and the current management do not seem inclined to improve either the fittings, the furnishings or the general shoddiness of the entire interior. Apart from the large facade, nicely done lobby, our rooms were markedly aged...

Booked in here by Travelsphere but that's another story. It was not great. Tired and shabby beyond the plush reception area, no mini bar, no bar at all in the hotel. Chinese channels on the TV, nothing else. My room was only serviced once during my three night stay. There was no room safe but boxes were available for a...

It was - 21 C when I landed on 16th Jan afternoon at the Harbin airport. The journey to the hotel was quick as it is not in the city center. This is a good place to base yourself for the ice and snow festival. However, room are old and need some touch up. Service staffs are not up standard...

This is a hard one! Before writing this review I tried hard to find other reviews to compare to our experience but could dig up none at all for this hotel which seems odd for what is supposedly a well known and well regarded venue. We stayed at the Friendship Palace overnight on a side trip to Harbin during our...

“Rooms closest to the hotel lobby has strong wifi, whereas rooms farthest away has very weak or no wifi signal. I had to sit next to my room door to use the hotel wifi. The Ying Bin building rooms are definitely nicer than the VIP building.”

“Maybe opt for the business rooms? Seems other reviewers put a higher value on those.”
