We bumped into this place by accident, getting out of the subway. Vivian was very welcoming and very helpful. When you get in the hostel you can feel the backpacker vibe, delicious menu and frirendly english speaker staff. The locatin in very good in the center right out side of the subway station. Defenately, the best place we've stayed in...

Lazybones is great. It was our first hostel in China so we don't know what the standard is here, but it was way better than even the hotels we stayed at in India and Nepal. The rooms were very clean, as was the bedding, which was cozy. The beds were fine except for the mattresses, which were very thin and...

Four of us stayed at Lazy Bones for two nights. The location was really good, close to the centre of the city and right beside an underground station. The staff were all very helpful and the common area is a great place to chill. The beds were what really let Lazy Bones down. Both us and our friends found them...

We arrived at 2:00 am and spent 14 nights over the period of one month at Lazy Bones. The staff were unbelievable. They helped us arrange train and plane tickets and let us leave our luggage and valuables there so we could 'travel light'. Common area allows you to connect with other travelers. The also have free walkabout and bike...

very convenient location, friendly staff and clean beds. you can meet lots of travelers from different countries in the common space, which is easy to make friends and share information. If you like Chinese food, there are also many famous local restaurants near lazybones. Highly recommended, first choice in Chengdu.

I'm writing this on my last night in Chengdu. Chengdu will be one of the great cities in the world - with fun, laid-back, warm people - and I'm sad to be leaving here. I wonder how much of this impression is due to Lazy Bones. I arrived here a week ago, not quite knowing what to expect. But the...

This is really a huge hostel/hotel. We appreciated the very reasonable restaurant and the free wifi in the common room. The rooms were nothing special, but we slept well and the sheets towels were clean. The subway is close (right out the door), and it is easy to catch the bus. The staff were very good at English and super...

We had to change our initial plans and we had no problem in extending our stay for 1 more night. We booked the deluxe twin room with ensuite bathroom with...

To save money on our recent adoption trip, we booked 2 rooms at this hostel instead of at the agency's overpriced hotel. The staff all speaks good English and were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good, not expensive and very convenient. We got 2 private rooms. The one my husband and I stayed in was very small,...
