I stayed on March 18, and 22-24. I lost my passport in Chendu. However, all of stuff are very kind and excellent. They instructed me what should I do, and I could return Japan safey. I really appriciate.

This is I think the best hostel in Chengdu. The location is not ideal, but it is close to many bus stations and metro stations, so you're still connected to where ever you want to go. That's one reason I like it here, its a little quieter than many of those smaller hostels right next to the bar district. Speaking...

This hostel is stunning. Cinema room, inside pagoda, bar... It really is a huge Guesthouse. I didn't stay long but the staff is young and really helpful. The map they sell of Sichuan is really resourceful and a pretty good start for your trip in Sichuan. Great time there.

Following 'lonely planet' 's advice, we booked this huge hostel. The big jungle like garden gives you an excellent escape from the city. They have a lot of facilities like a travel service, dvd room and an excellent restaurant with an extensive both chinese as western menu. Also they organize nice theme parties (we were there during Halloween, although we...

I had stayed at this hostel many times. It's a good place for transit to other places of interest in Szechuan. This hostel was formerly called Sim's Cozy Garden Hostel and was started by Sim and Maki. Now it still retained its attractive points namely a nice garden and courtyard for guests to relax and get together. There is also...

We've started here twice now. Once on the way to jiuzhai and once on the way back. Friendly staff, clean rooms and nice food made this a very pleasant stay. We had a small double room first. It was small, but clean and comfy. The larger room the second time was only 20 kuai more, but huge, well decorated and...

We have been in Hello Chengdu for four nights and we were very enjoyed our stay there. Rooms are clean and nice. The stuff is always happy to help and all of them speaks fluent English.

I stayed here a few nights. My main objective of coming to Chengdu was to hug a panda. I asked the reception she told me that it was now impossible and that option isn't available anymore. She then went on to pitch her tour they do through the hostel. I then went online and found a tour to hug a...

BIG hostel, but quite empty when we were there. Helpfull staff. Although there are no lockers, the room is opened by an electronic key. I liked that all the beds had their own curtains. Bathroom ensuite which was cleaned daily. Nice garden and terrace seating on the ground floor (but empty with no people). They provide an excellent map to...

“If you're willing to pay a bit more, get a private en-suite room. This is especially critical if you have special needs that could interfere with other hostel mates. The lift is wonderful for access to the upper floors.”
