Nothing fancy, basic needs, but the rooms were big, clean and had A/C!!!! Small clean pool to cool yourself down after walking around in the walled city. Ice cold beer and drinks are also available. The staff went out of their way to make sure you had everything. Nice, safe area to walk in the surrounding area. We were there... More

Very basic hotel but nice place to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. Rooms were very tidy and spacious. Nice pool to relax beside as well. English speaking staff member is very helpful.Very nice restaurants within walkable distances and plenty to choose from. Very good option at an affordable price.

- Good location, about a 5-10 minute walk to the walled city - Safe - Great air conditioning, which you will need! - Pool was ok but needed a lot more chlorine and cleaning - Nice breakfast, great juice - Beds and pillows are not the most comfortable - Very nice staff - When in the walled city, make sure... Awesome location right in the middle of Getsemani. It's on a beautiful Street. Make sure you try the cocktails made by the guys who have a stand on the street in front of a restaurant - coming out of the hotel and turning left towards the church and square. They are delicious. Bedrooms are really nice with comfortable beds. The... More

There is a pool at Casa Relax, a nice pool. That fact only would give this place 5*. To relax here during the siesta in a hammock and have the possibility to swim in the pool is marvelous. Rooms are simple, but if you stay at places like this you don't spend any time in the room. It's reasonably clean.... More

We spent our first two nights in Colombia here. Our room had a strong AC unit and the hotel has a great pool to lounge by. The location is great for exploration to the fort, around the getsemani neighborhood, and to the historic inner walled town. The staff does not speak much English, but are very kind and helpful. They... More

Nice breakfast, choice between pancakes or eggs. Big & clean pool. Good beds. You can use the kitchen if you want but there are many good dining options just 200 meters away. Staff doesn't speak much English so that might be a problem for people who don't speak Spanish.

The manager speaks French and English as well as Spanish. The breakfast was very good and the pool was adequate. The rooms were ok but the air conditioning could have been a bit cooler. The rooms were quiet even though there was a lot of street life. It seemed like everyone was cooling off and celebrating in the evening. Good... More

This is very cute place, clean and well run. The price is very reasonable as well for Cartagena. The location is great as well, as Getsemani is a buzzing area where locals actually live. It was fun to walk back to our hotel after spending the day in the tourist part of the old city, and be back in a... More

Really nice, chilled B&B in a buzzing area of Getsemani. Good to see a part of Cartagena that is slightly less touristy than the centre. After reading about Getsemani I was worried I wouldn't feel safe but all the streets around Casa Relax relax felt perfectly fine. Only 5 mins from the walled city. Friendly, helpful staff but no English... More
