We stayed in two similar hotels in Cartagena, and this was the best. Great architecture, wonderful breakfast on the rooftop (covered), an elevator, quiet A/C, hot showers, etc. We stayed here again after returning from Providencia. Highly recommend.

This older, smaller hotel is located smack-downtown in the walled city. Rates are reasonable and the service is friendly and helpful, although mostly in Spanish! Rooms are very small, but air-conditioned and clean, all all the amenities are there. The is a breakfast restaurant on the 5th (top)-floor with charming view of the neighbourhood. There is a small lobby-pool but...

Stayed for 2 nights after travelling to other areas of Colombia. A definite change of pace and sensations. Located on a very busy street, with traffic, cooking smells, music and a local colour! A great place to walk to the fort, central plaza, dining, shopping and only a 20 minute ride to the airport (taffic jams permitting!). Recommend rooms on...

The hotel's location is fabulous inside the walled fort of Cartegena, Colombia. While the location is great the rooms are very basic. There is air conditioning and we were comfortable. The bathroom is very spartan and old. The room we stayed in had a large door leading to a shared balcony looking out on the street. There is noise from...

I stayed two nights as part of a tour I was taking and was quite pleased. I was with another traveler in a two person room and there was more than enough space for us. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. We had warm water for evening showers but cold water in the morning. I would recommend...

Our initial accommodation was poor - small room with 1 small double bed and 1 child's bed - when we had ordered a Twin Room for 2 single ladies travelling together. We were offered a suite as an alternative so at least we had a bed each although the bathroom was still tiny! The aircon was super efficient. I was...

Hotel is in a super location...inside the old, walled city. 3-4 blks will take you to anything you want to see. Hotel is neat & clean. I didnt try the pool, but I did notice...only 2 chairs by the pool & no table. Shower was nice w/ plenty of hot water. Mini bar, safe & TV. Grocery is just 4...

Very centrally located, this hotel appeals to all kinds of people. Our room overlooked the road, which was busy throughout the day, but owing to secondary glazing the room was very quiet. The air conditioning was highly efficient. The shower room was a tad on the small size, quite awkward for only one person at a time, but it worked....

First the negatives - we came in the night with a group of friends only to realize that the rooms are not as we booked and definitely not as they were described on the web site. None of the rooms we had has a city view, in fact the windows were tiny and we had no natural light. In addition,...

Stayed here six nights in mid-February. The hotel is centrally located within the old city, walking distance to great restaurants. It's a beautiful, open air space, with minimal headway in certain areas, especially the bathroom. The room was fine, somewhat small, but certainly livable for two people. The bed was pretty good, although the sheets were thin. Air conditioning really...
