Stayed 4 nights. Payed 120K per night Chose hotel after first visiting many others. The prices are reasonable Well appointed small rooms. Cabin showers. Everything is modern and works. Staff lovely. Aircon + fan. Location in a quiet part in the nice part of the old town. Wifi works great. Breakfast a bit basic, just cereal and bread and small... More

I stayed at Casa Abril, a small boutique hotel within the old walled city. I enjoyed it very much. The staff was very helpful and a nice breakfast was included. It is in a great location where you can walk to various museums and there are a number of good restaurants within two blocks.

If you're looking for a 5 star hotel this isn't it. But for the price you're paying I'd seriously question what you're thinking if you expect 5 stars. The place has most of everything one might want... Decent wifi that works in the room. Mini fridge for keeping your water warm. Hot showers- ignore other reviewers... if your water isn't... More

This place could not be in a better location. One block away from the supermarket. Two blocks away from Plaza San Diego. 5 minute walk to all the plazas in the old city. Many options to eat within a 2 block radio is. Very inexpensive for the location. Rooms are average for the price you are paying for. Front desk... More

The staff were very friendly. The room was basic but acceptable. Mine was located next to the reception desk, and you could hear music/noise outside, particularly when the AC went idle. Breakfast is very basic but this is a budget accommodation so no complaints. There was a misunderstanding with the reception desk when making a van reservation for Barranquilla the... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. What I liked about this place: - Awesome location: it's in the upscale San Diego area within walking distance to tons of restaurant and bars and yet has a strong local flavour. There is an Exito supermarket a block away and you can find cheap and delicious street food in the two... More

While on business in Cartagena I decided to stay at Casa Abril. Arriving at night and leaving early the next morning, my priorities were to be able to get a good night's sleep, walk to a nice restaurant in the Old Town for dinner, and not break the bank. Casa Abril checked all boxes. The room while a bit on... More

Well located and simple place to stay. People in the front desk are nice and very laid back. The bathroom is clean but the room is so so. You can't sleep until late because you listen people in the breakfast. You feel bad to eat in the morning because the tables are outside in a backyard without air condicionated.

Great place!.. very clean, excellent service, and perfect location. Just need to make breakfast a bit bigger. The rooms are a bit small but they are comfortable enough. Very friendly people and great restaurants around.
