We stayed three nights at the Tiger Paw Hostel. Why? Because it is in the cheaper range of the area, only 28.000 pesos per night in a three bed dorm. The hostel is quite clean, well located and the staff is mostly friendly. One big disadvantage: the walls are kind of thin, so you hear everything, espacially from the lobby....

Thank you for your review. In regards to the music, we do have a bar within the hostel and we do play music normally until midnight when the bar closes (or earlier if no one is at the bar). During that time, we were testing out a DJ to see if it would benefit the bar. WE DO NOT hire...

1. The worst service in reception I have ever seen in hotel-hostel industry. Spoiling the whole experience in Medellin. 2. The stuff tend to "losing your luggage" in case you decide to leave them for guarding. In case you are really desparate and you have to choose between staying at the street and at this hostel pay extra attention to...

When guests come in and demand things right from the beginning and are extremely rude, it's kind of hard to provide the best service possible. Every hostel has the same rule within, they are not responsible for your personal items. That's why there are lockers for you to use. We have to run a business here and can't watch your...

Great location in the centre of poblado, which is probably the best area to stay as a tourist in Medellin. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great, good if you like to party or want some company on your travels. They have a TV with Netflix available 24/7 in the public areas, however this means that the...

Cool location, friendly staff, clean rooms, Netflix!!! Party vibes but not overly noisy. They're under renovation at the moment so I guess this place is only getting better... If you stay make sure you make use of Domicilios on your lazy days!

We were due to leave medellin easter weekend but unfortunately all buses were full. All hostels were also full on the friday night. Friends of ours had stayed in tiger paw before so we gave them a try unfortunately they were also full up. Unlike all the other hostels they took pity on the 3 of us and set up...

We stayed a couple nights at Tiger Paw, on our way cycling down South America. This is a really decent hostel, nice and clean with a friendly atmosphere. They are in the process of painting and our room was freshly painted with heaps of space. The showers were great and the kitchen is clean and fully stocked. The staff are...

The rooms are clean. It's located in El Poblado, the liveliest part of Medellin, but the street itself is relatively quiet, as compared to others in the area. (This hostel also has a bar...always a plus.) Above all, the staff are helpful and friendly. I felt more welcome here than any other hostel I've stayed in. (I've been travelling through...

I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff are brilliant! They have a nice little kitchen which was really useful for me and the hostel is really well placed in the El poblado district not horribly far from the south bus terminal. Amazing WiFi, hot showers, clean rooms.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
