The shared 6 bedroom was kind of small and there were very few outlets anywhere, but that has been somewhat typical of colombia in general. Very nice location, seemed safe and friendly. I would recommend this one to friends.

In a superb area v close to the metro. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, it was very comfortable and clean. Downtown and Poblado are easy to get to on the metro and there are bars and restaurants minutes away. The area is also safe and the staff were always extremely helpful with any questions I had or if I needed something...

Our "Chile" room had an amazingly huge bed that could easily sleep 3. Sheets and bathroom were clean. (Cleaners did forget to clean rubbish behind the front door) The room was smelling a bit of detergent and cleaners. We stayed for 3 nights or so and in that time our room was left just to us so we emptied our...

Very nice atmosphere with a hammock and seating area where you can relax with a book or chat to other travellers. Nice big kitchen and bar, where they host regular evenings, including a language exchange with locals which I found very useful. Staff with lots of advice and always happy to help. Only problem I had was that the walls...

I was here with a group from all over Colombia and they did a fantastic job not only with being hospitible but answering all questions and helping people find their way around town. They are very accessable form the metro and not difficult to find. The facilities are great! Big kitchen. We made some good Pina Coladas with that blender....

I spent a month in the wandering paisa surrounded by some of the most amazing company I've been blessed to encounter on my travels. I became friends with the locals that worked at the hostel. They welcomed me into their culture and took care of me. They told me everything I needed to know about seeing their city and were...

I booked my first stay at the Wandering Paisa a few weeks ago, and I had such a great time that I stayed there again on my swing back through Medellin. The Paisa ticks all the usual boxes for a great hostel - amazing staff, clean facilities, comfy beds and hammocks - but what made it a fantastic time was...

I had a great time at this hostel. Friendly, helpful, bilingual, staff. The owner is also frequently around to chat with. Locals come in to meet travelers at the events, such as karaoke. This makes for great opportunities to practice your Spanish and meet new people. I would recommend this hostel to anyone looking for an authentic Paisa experience.
