The St. Laurent offers 20 newly renovated guest rooms on the second and third floor of a historic walk-up building first established in 1886. Today’s rooms have been carefully updated with experience in mind, designed to offer guests a flexible space to live, work, and socialize. We believe in embracing technology when it enhances a seamless experience — which is why we’ve nixed the standard front desk and onsite staff for an invisible service model. Our streamlined, web-based check-in and check-out gives you instant access to your guest room through a digital key on your phone. Each room features individual heating and cooling systems so you’re in control of your perfect temperature. As a historic 3-story hotel, there is no elevator on site — please be aware that you will be responsible for your bags upon arrival and departure and plan accordingly.

Detailed Reviews
My boyfriend and I stayed from Friday through Sunday. We had the most comfortable room, the sweetest person greeted us upon arrival, we enjoyed amazing drinks made by the knowledgeable bartender, Dean, and we had the most delicious dinner (ribeye for two) at Heirloom. Asbury is his favorite place, but after our last visit, it is fast becoming my favorite place. Thank you to all the staff for an amazing weekend. We cannot wait to do it again soon. Hopefully, very soon.

Cute place, well located. Pool area and food great. Room small but very clean and the ability to flip up bed helped.
Only complaint was communication - called to ask about early check in and told it wasn't possible. En route (for a std check in time ) got an email stating early check in available and I was charged. They removed charge (upon request) but the confusion was a little annoying.

Every aspect from the service to the food to the atmosphere exceeded expectations.
We were greeted by a friendly host at the beautiful entrance and chose to have a drink in the bar before dinner. The bar is decorated with darker colors and splashes of light in all the right spots. Comfortable seating and amazing cocktails. Do NOT miss the espresso Martini.
The Dining room is lighter and airy - we chose to sit at the bar and were so happy we did because we had amazing service. Stephen, the bartender, gave us great recommendations. His service was backed up by 3 other people and we always felt like we had great attention, but not annoying attention. Sound level was perfect. We were all able to hear each other. We ordered the 3 course menu and loved it. Creative courses - all delicious. We ordered Benchmark bread with lobster butter as an addition and WOW so worth it.
Back to the bar after dinner.
Whole night was excellent.

We recently stayed at the St. Laurent and unfortunately it fell short of our expectations.
The concept was confusing - part "residence", part "club membership" and part "day trippers". Despite friendly staff and tasty food at the restaurant, the pool area favored club members, leaving limited seating for overnight guests who compete with day trippers for the coveted "upper deck" area by the pool. Otherwise, you get relegated to the "lower deck/lawn", which isn't depicted in any of the marketing materials.
In fact, even though we were the first ones at the pool, almost 2 hours before the 10am opening, we couldn’t just pick any one of the open loungers, but instead were relegated to loungers that were not previously reserved by the Members. We were informed by the owner that Members get priority access as they pay $5,500 a year for their annual membership. And that hotel guests and day trippers were on a first come first serve basis on the day of access.
All a bit too confusing and stressful when we just wanted a fun relaxing weekend where we didn’t have to think about anything other than enjoy good accommodation, good food and fun times.
The absence of breakfast (or any availability of breakfast like food in the morning without having to walk 10 minutes), in-room coffee (there is coffee in a public area in the morning plus a pop up that only serves coffee options), Airbnb like "invisible service" and amenities typical at this price point, added to the disappointment.
While the very gracious owner tried to address our concerns (and provided a partial refund for our 2nd night as we decided to leave early), and the beauty of the property, the lack of transparency, misleading marketing, and preference for members tainted our overall experience.

This was one of the best experiences I have yet to have while staying away from home while on business! I felt welcomed and like I was staying in a home away from home! The hospitality was above expectations, even down to the last detail of having an item delivered to the hotel when I had shared that I forgot an item and inquired how far the nearest store was. I highly recommend this quaint, yet luxurious spot! !0 out of 10!! Will be back!!

Outstanding hotel! We have been meaning to check it out for a while. It’s right in the heart of things but still on a quiet residential street. They did a great job of preserving the historic feel of the hotel while updating the amenities! The checkin and checkout process was smooth.
The hotel lounge and Heirloom have some of the best cocktails and food options I have ever experienced. The quality of food is easily star-worthy but in an accessible and welcoming setting.

The property, pool, restaurant (Heirloom), front porch, coffee shop, and just the overall vibe take you away from the stress of daily life. The pool staff and service is impeccable, they truly made sure everything was perfect. My queen room was clean and felt brand new. The only thing I will say, is the Queen bed is more like a full size and fits 1 person comfortably, so if you are on the taller side and have 2 people, select the King! I will definitely be back!

Everything about staying at the st Laurent is simply lovely. From the attentive, thoughtful and entertaining staff (Manager Matt and bartender Dean were absolute stand outs, they made our trip) to the cozy, well appointed furnishing, powerful showers, comfortable beds, and absolutely EXCEPTIONAL food from Chef Dave and his team- the St Laurent is in its a class of its own. We will be back again in every season.

Sweet spot! Great pool and lounge area. Food and drinks are wonderful! Rooms are small but we knew that beforehand. Super clean and they clearly pay attention to detail. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the downtown area of restaurants and shops so we took advantage of the electric scooters - fun way to get around Asbury. We will be back!
