I walk in and The Chelsea is nice. Then you go to the left and it changes to The Annex and it looks like a cheap hotel. Wouldn't have paid more than $100 if i knew what it was. I ended up cutting my leg on the bed spring and got upgraded to a room in the Chelsea thank god....

The Chelsea itself is a pleasure to stay at, however, stay clear of The Annex. The Chelsea and it's owners (same as Congress Hall in Cape May) should be mortified having their name associated with this wing of the hotel. It felt like a low budget refugee motel. Upon entering our room we promptly called the front desk and had...

Every bad thing you've read about this place is probably true. That said, the location is pretty good, the lobby area was nice, with a mid-century modern/Hollywood regency kind of décor. We stayed in the Annex, whose hallways almost couldn't be creepier. The low dark gray ceiling, and the dark striped carpet just suck in all the light and make...

Thought we booked a room at The Chelsea only to find out upon arrival that we were in the Annex. Fresh paint over mold and leaks is still mold and leaks. The bathroom has not been updated and you could clearly hear water dripping in the ceiling from the room above. The carpeting in the hallways was old and in...

Upon arrival on the Labor Day weekend we were checked in by a lovely girl. Our room was ready. That was the only positive point of the visit. The room included 2 lamps - neither working, a bathroom you couldn't turn around in with 2 small towels and a sink that wouldn't drain the first night we were there (they...

I was a little skeptical about the place before arriving. It was confirmed when we entered the elevator. Old and rickety. Even more confirmed upon entering our room. Let's start with the decor. Not one thing matched. The desk/dresser was old and worn. There was nothing warming about the room. The desk lamps didn't work. I was surprised we had...

My husband and I purchased a living social deal which was a night at the annex at the Chelsea. Front desk staff was great, unfortunately, that's where "great" ended. We walked out of what appeared to be a clean, welcoming lobby to a motel quality, dingy, moldy section of the hotel. We tried to give it the benefit of the...

We booked one night through booking.com. Photos on the website were really nice. The room itself looked nice and clean. And... it was a deal $90 per night (at a discounted rate). See photos included. The room looks more like a cheap motel.

Went to A.C. for my fiances birthday this past weekend. The photos from the website are not a true reflection of the quality standard for this hotel. The room was terrible! I had to go to the closest store to buy bleach, comet, candles and sanitizing wipes as the tub was filthy! Ring of dirt in the tub, room smelt...

Needs updating! Service was a bit slow, waited 45 minutes to have our sheets changed before bed. No microwave and they refused to heat our food up even though they have their restaurant/dinner. They offered a small refrigerator for an extra $10 a night. On the positive side , it was right next to the beach and offered towels, beach...
