Reserved a particular room, wasn't given room upon check in as they weren't ready. I asked if the room was newly renovated and it was not. Paid for a room that we didn't get. Looked online and while there and could've gotten a better room at a much cheaper price.. The room we paid for wasn't given and wasn't credited to other rate. Called and was told no room was available of course not because they were given out. Floor completely noisy, people partying all night long and no one came to quiet them down. only 2 towels in the room called and never received.

I needed a room where I could arrive at 6am Monday and stay an additional 2 nights. So I booked and paid for my reservation starting Sunday evening, even though I wouldn't be using the room for the majority of the night. I know check in is not until 3pm so I wanted to make sure I could get in the room super early. I called the hotel out of courtesy the night before to let them know I would be arriving late. They informed me that they would be canceling all three nights if I did not arrive by 2am. I offered to pay for all three nights or check in over the phone. They said the only solution was to pay for the one night penalty with the cancelation and hope that they had availability for the next two nights, and still not be able to get in until 3pm. So in essence they charged me for a room I wanted, paid for but wouldn't let me use.

After having a bad experience the last time we stayed at Bally’s, we decided to give it one last chance…. well, they blew it big time! After waiting patiently in line for check in, I finally got up to the counter, only to have the girl working there wave her hand at me dismissively, snapping “I was gonna wait on the vip first. Theeeey come FIRST” Now there are to distinctly marked lines, one for vip, one for people that this girl feels the need to treat like lowlife peons. Now on to the room.. oh this room was awful! Dark and dreary with bad lighting. The beds were both crooked as was the nightstand. The piece of furniture that the tv sits on was sticky to the touch. Bally’s was formally a great place to stay in AC, but alas there are much, much nicer accommodations close by, hopefully with employees that actually treat you like a human being.

I’ve been playing and staying at Ballys for years. (Diamond Card Player) I stopped going to Ballys as they made cuts. I get that. Now a new operation under new management, I figured I would try playing a little, as they gave out small gifts to lure you in. I received a flyer in the mail for a free $15 in slot play. Why not? I try printing my voucher and I am locked out. I went to player reward center who indicated I must now see a host. I then walk to find Kimmie F , an experienced host. She smugly says your account has been suspended, due to lack of play and for taking advantage of the gifts we give away. Whatttt? A few weeks prior, I dumped a decent chunk of money in their machines, which they can see. Additionally, THEY sent me the flyer for the gift. I come down and now you tell me “no gift for you”. The rooms are run down and I wouldn’t stay there anyway. Kimmie forgot when we use to tip her years ago I guess. I don’t need Ballys $15 bucks and it’s just the principle. Don’t send me offers if you can’t honor them. You just turn off people and lose your integrity. Me, my family, and friends will not step foot in this place, as there is too many other casinos to choose from.

Our usual fall trip to Bally’s for the last 20 years and it was terrible!! Upon checking in there was no one in line, I always stay in the Bally’s Towers and requested that when I made the reservation. When I go to check in the clerk states they are booked for the Towers, granted it is 4pm on a Friday and no one else in line but they are booked? So she gives me a room in the Dennis Towers, I stayed there maybe a handful of times in my 20’s when I was just starting out to gamble so I knew what those rooms looked like. As I expected and remembered the room was small, smelled of wet dog or sewer (couldn’t figure it out but it was awful!), outdated, dark, room directly beside the elevators, and a view of the parking garage. Needless to say it was horrible! My husband called Caesars and ended up getting a comped room for Saturday and Sunday, so I walk back down to check in get waited on by the same clerk (again no line) and I tell her I need to change my reservation and check out the next day instead of that Monday like I planned. She punched a few buttons and said your set never inquired as to why when she had just checked me in not even 15 mins ago. Next morning we check out of the dungeon because that is how it feels and checked in to Caesars. We normally stay in the Centurion Towers there but they were renovating that part and the clerk apologized several times. The room we got was in their south towers it was bright, clean, spacious, and just an overall good feel. Upon checkout from Bally’s that Saturday my husband was in the elevator and a guy was raising heck with someone on the phone about how he was 4 tiers higher on his player card and got a crappy room in the Dennis towers and crappy service! My husband said so did we buddy we’re going to Caesars! We have been coming up several times a year for the past 20 and this is now how repeat customers get treated since Ballys got bought out and under new ownership?? I’ll take my money to Caesars from here on out! Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!
