I was here for a night with a friend, the hotel itself was not bad. But the reason the rating is low is due to a member of staff, we came back to the hotel to collect our suitcases, which was behind the counter. We were waiting, not sure if he was going to bring it out, he then said to us “go on then.” I also had a really bad cold and needed tissue, I couldn’t see him anywhere to ask him for some, so went to get some myself as there was a massive roll of tissue, he appeared and shouted at me saying “you are not allowed in here”I got scared and said sorry, he then said “ well go on then”, to rip the tissue, I didn’t do it quick enough, so he ripped it for me in a passive aggressive manner and muttered something under his breath. I am a frequent traveller, and I have never met a employee that is so so rude. I am writing this review in hope management will speak to him. I don’t know his name, but he was working on Tuesday, the 24th of August at around 7-8pm.…
Me and my wife stay at hotel Neboder in Rijeka December. All look okey but in the room it was blowing in, raining in from windows, it was mold on walls and it was also smell of smoke(but this was maybe coming from some ventilation). In the morning we go for breakfast, there was only 2 people at the samt time eating so staff had not full of work, we get old bread and personal who work there just look at the emply plates from ham and cheese, did not fill it up, they look like they just want to go home. I have send 2 emails to uprava at jadran-hoteli but no one respond so they probably dont care about it.
The hotel is way too expensive for what it offers! Location is 5-7 min walking to the center! Everything else is horrible! Food with dates that expired! Disgusting! Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!! The worst hotel I have ever been!
Hotel is located not far from Rijeka city center. It is older building (from Yugoslavia times), but it is kept quite tidy. It could use some updating, but it is compensated by gret view from top floor buildings, cleanliness and polite staff. Breakfast was also decent. This is ok for few days stay in Rijeka.
Spent here a weekend and got a room facing the train and city side. You still have a view to the sea. The rooms are tidy and offer even a cafe and tea corner for free. The bed is allergy-proof and comfy. The shower cabine is indeed a bit narrow to access and the toilet - by the way - WHO designed that toilet? - Please consider a 90° shifted sit position here or arrive with very tiny legs. The whole hotel crew - especially the kitchen crew - is very friendly and polite and welcome you with a smile in the morning. Compared to some other reviews here - i have to add - that the breakfast was good and offered quite some good food and tasty bread. It would have been nice if we would have got a room facing to the sea - since there had not been really many people in the hotel - but ok. In total - a nice place to stay and offers everything you need to spent a relaxing night.…
If I could give no stars I would. I would never go back to Hotel Neboder. They advertise parking, but no parking available, we got a lot of attitude from the hotel receptionist on shift, which just wasn’t needed or expected. Rooms are extremely dated and stuffy and carpet looks disgusting. Don’t eat there, breakfast is a joke, orange juice was like drinking cough syrup. Just a horrible hotel to stay, please avoid.
The room was ok but the windows were not sealed so the wind And sound from the street went right through. The heat didn’t work. Very very nice staff! Better breakfast than other 3stars in Croatia. Great location!
Ok hotel Ok Location Everything is basic and it does the job if you need a place to stay for the night when you're in Rijeka if you're travelling along the coast and you have a vehicle. If you're walking you may want to get a hotel closer to the city center. No real issues but nothing outstanding about our stay here. Very basic and it did the job.
I have stayed there for 3 nights. My heating wasnt working so they gave me another room. Has its own parking. breakfast is ok. clean. little bit old fashioned but for the price its ok. I can not complain about anything special. my colleges complained about traffic noise from the street bellow.
Hotel Neboder is good money for value property in Rijeka. Rooms are basic but spacious with lots of natural light and fairly priced. Each room has it's own aircon unit, and a balcony with great view. However, there is no safe in the room nor fridge or mini bar. TV is rather small and so is the desk. Shower cubicle is also small. Bed is comfortable but sounds from the street below easily penetrates poorly insulated windows. Breakfast is basic and is offered in a grim looking restaurant. Personnel is helpful and friendly. I tried other hotels in Rijeka and although only 3 star property I will prefer hotel Neboder for my future visits.
