The place is clean, no wifi on the rooms. For the money you can get better places in town. I wanted to there 3 times, but twice they've been overbooked and wanted me to stay at another hostel far outside of the center. Had to search for another place then.

Extremely friendly staff combined with a good location close to the harbor and the food street. Advantage is the great rooftop terrace with kitchen for individual use, however sometimes the stuff doesn't manage to clean up the kitchen as fast as the backpackers make it dirty again. We stayed the first nights on the ground floor and were given for...

I stayed a few days in this hostel. It was very nice with free breakfast included and nice terrace to chill. The overall quality price is very good, don't expect luxury but its totally fine for travelers looking for a place to rest after the trips. I want to thank Paco for his great help with tours, cheap eats or...

First room at the ground floor smelled really bad. Second one at the second floor was better plus second one had a window (first one had a window at corridor). Staying there you should pay no more than 15$ per person. Try to not chose the rooms at the ground floor. Staff ok, helpful when it comes to informing you...

This hostel is really nice! And the receptionists are very friendly and sweet. It's a nice standard and the rooms are clean with big and comfy beds to a good price. It's very close to good restaurants, travel agency, super markets and to the boats. They also have a kitchen for everyone to use witch is good, because it's generally...

We spent 3 nights at the Gardner Hotel in a lovely comfortable room with a double and 2 single beds. Air conditioning was welcome as was the fan in room. Hotel staff - Janina, in particular - were incredibly helpful and friendly in a variety of ways from booking taxis to laundry to internet. Recommended.

We found the hotel Garnder by "accident" when our originally planned hotel changed the price at check in. It was the best thing that happened! Janina and her family are the most welcoming people and are top notch when it comes to customer service! The rooms were clean, safe and the terraza was a beautiful place to rest, eat, or...

We stayed here on our second pass through Puerto Ayora as it was 10USD cheaper than the Estrella del Mar and still had AC. We tried to have a nap on the first afternoon, but really loud music was playing at a building next door, which came straight through the thin windows and walls. For the rest of the stay,...

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff is very friendly and helped us get good deals on activities. For example we payed 125$ for a dive where the price otherwise would have been 150-160$. They also have a large terrace and the location is very close to the harbour and lots of restaurants and shops.

The room was very dirty, the bed smelled really bad. On the internet is the former hotel still represented as a hotel with prices around 75$ per night for a cuple allthough the government took away theyr licence to run it as a hotel. In the offer they include a breakfast, which you`ll never get, because the old and rusty...
