I cant say enough for how much I enjoyed my stay at hostel Elizabeth. For the price you pay compared to other hostels in the area this place cannot be beat. Conveniently located very very close to the pier and everything in Puerto Ayora. And I especially cannot say enough about the staff and the owner about how friendly and... More

Perfect for those on budget as it is one of the cheapest in town. 30 $ for a double in low season, reasonable wifi, basic rooms with private bathroom and a kitchen (which is sort of a private kitchen for the owner but free to use for guests). Very sweet owner once you get to know her - great service.

I loved staying here. Very centrally located, good wifi, good and hot shower, very comfortable bed. I had a double room to myself with own private ensuite. The property is always monitored and locked at night, you are given a key to enter through front gate. The lady who runs this hostel is absolutely lovely and was very accommodating with... More

Nice place. You get a key for the enclosure and then a key for your room. Our room had no air conditioning but was roof top and got breeze off the ocean. Family run. Good for low maintanence people. Close to a lot of resaurants. Centrally located.

Get a top floor room for best breeze. Great central location right on the malecon. I echo another reviewer that I'm surprised by the high ratings. I don't take some of the issues other do, yes it was small, but that's ok with me. The manager Vilma was very nice to me and helpful. I take issue that it wasn't... More

We've stayed at this Hostal only for one night which was enough. The price with $30 was not really cheap so at least we would have expected a bit more. There was no socket in the whole room to plug in with the standard plugins of Ecuador. Only one single cable where none of our adapters fit. We had to... More

I don't know how this place has such a good review on TripAdvisor. It's one of the worst hostel I've stayed at. The first room I was given looked alright from the start but after returning later in the evening I noticed that 1) the toilet was leaking and starting to flood the bathroom and 2) the room was crawling... We stayed here for a couple of days but left for somewhere nicer but it wasn't too bad. No hot water and no Wi-Fi (despite this being prominently advertised) but clean and friendly. Super convenient for the port if you're going on day trips and some rooms on the top floor have ocean views.

This seemed a very rustic hostel. Ok for people on a budget for one night, which was $30 for a double by galapagos standards. Tiny bathroom, I had to poke my knees out the door whilst diagonally sitting on the loo! The sink tap was actually under the sink as the one on top didn't work! The shower was cold.... More
