We stayed here while we explored the town and were glad we did - it was the only American-style hotel still in business. Unfortunately the food options were very limited, though they plan to add a second onsite restaurant in 2017.

We had a buffet lunch here during a tour of Abu Simbel. The food was very good as was the service. I would recommend this restaurant. They had many authentic Egyptian dishes here. According to our Egyptian guide the food was like he has at home.

First let me say that we were with a tour group and were supposed to be cruising Lake Nasser. When that part of the tour was cancelled, we were booked under very short notice for one night at the Seti. It should also be noted that the property itself is just gorgeous. The pools were amazing (needed because you can't...

We booked this place for a couple of reasons: 1) There is not very much to choose from in Abu Simbel 2) There is not that much to do in Abu Simbel so we thought it would be nice to stay somewhere with a pool, a bar, etc so we could relax there in the afternoon 3) We wanted to...

Spent one night just to be able to see the sound and lighting show at the Abu Simbel temple. The resort was quiet as it was in the middle of summer or low season for them. Temperature reached just under 50° C during the day, so really hot, but bearable in the shade. Staff and management are superb and very...

The hotel is nice from the outside, first impression: really nice, great views, staff were very helpful and polite, rooms: a bit dated and needed some maintenance but nothing major. Due to the decline in the numbers of tourists recently in Egypt we (and one other guest) were the only residents in this hotel, what a shame as it a...

What a delight... hotel rooms along Lake Nasser... great WiFi (the best of the trip), lovely hospitality... They had to open our rooms for the cruise at the last minute as our ship had run aground...Boy were we lucky. Everything was beautiful and NEW.

Arrived at this charming oasis after a 2 1/2 hour bus ride across the desert highway from Aswan to Abu Simbel. The hotel has a beautiful terraced pool overlooking Lake Nasser. Our group welcomed the opportunity to relax in such a soothing space. My travel buddy and I enjoyed the spa-like music and were particularly happy with the grilled chicken...

This is a beautiful hotel and the only one in town with a pool. The have 2 amazing pools and I had a fantastic view of the lake from the balcony off my room. The staff was courteous and professional and the food was good. It is also in very close proximity to the temples. I highly recommend this hotel.
