Just about perfect, one of the best Mövenpick anywhere. Super friendly staff that really go out of their way. We had the best experience ever in the Red Sea area. Check-in with the seamless, great team at the front office well trained. The awesome beachfront room was exquisite. The room was spotless and was cleaned always on time, without inconveniencing us the entire stay. The Internet could be better. I would like to congratulate the food and beverage team both the service and kitchen team, you should be proud of yourselves. The food offering is diverse and the breakfast choice is excellent. The food always fresh and tasty the variety of the diner buffet was exceptional. Thank you all for the great hotel experience. Looking forward to the next experience.
Hotel is good: friendly staff, green territory with flowers, attentive team in the restaurant. Wi-Fi is decent and stable mainly. The hotel has own pebbly beach on the sea which is rare in El Gouna. But you need to know that Red Sea in El Gouna is very specific one: there is no possibility to swim – the sea is very shallow, less than a meter deep, no fishes, no snorkeling. To enjoy snorkeling on Red Sea we took additional tours and in general had a good time. If you go to El Gouna – take some insect repellents, there is a lot of insects in the evening because of water channels. Thus, get your expectations right and enjoy 😊
The area is perfect. A few outlets closed over covid, food was amazing. It is a big property. Didnt feel like my diamond status was given cause. I guess i expected more but I will be back. The property is amazing and the area is wonderful for a walk or a quick tour There are many resturants shopping and places to hang very close to the hotel.
Nice and cooperative guest relations staff, they were very helpful when I left my eyeglasses in the room. Lost and found confirmed the eyeglasses were found and cooperated with the shipment company to deliver it to me in Cairo
We decided to go to Gouna – as Egypt was the only destination never red listed for travel from Switzerland. We booked our long stay and here starts the experience: It started with a professional and prompt confirmation asking if we need transfer service. Landing at Hurghada airport we were grateful to be picked up after a 4+ hours flight. The driver was amazing and helpful. We arrived at the hotel lobby, respecting Egyptian COVID-19 measures, the check in went very quick and smooth with a detailed explanation of Do and DO NOTS. In fact the hotel premises are mainly outdoor and the staff indoor and outdoor are wearing masks all the time. Châpeau. The rooms are spacious (the biggest most comfortable rooms in Gouna). We tested all the other hotels. Breakfast service is amazing, oriental, European and healthy buffet. Do not miss the Cheese pâté. The staff is very attentive and professional, they really keep an eye on anything missing. We have been remote working all the time, the technical staff were very attentive and supported us to make sure we have a convenient environment. We need to add a compliment to the Housekeeping (Ossama) what a patience and service. THANK YOU. The beach is one of the most beautiful ones in Gouna and we enjoyed every moment - drinks and food are served at the beach. You need to check the tide calendar of Gouna. We used the tennis facility very well maintained, the GYM – also clean and modern and last but not least the Kite Club, amazing people, amazing staff. For the Golfers the hotel shuttle drops you to the Golf facility next door. The Mövenpick has its charm and the staff did not change. This place created unforgettable memories and we will definitely return. We can only congratulate the management for this outstanding motivated staff in spite of the whole world cracking in negative vibes.…
