My partner and I visited makadi gardens for 11 nights my first time visiting Egypt and cannot fault it! Staff are absolutely fantastic and so welcoming. Great place to relax and forget about the world. Nadar pool bar manager cannot fault him waited hand and foot upon us to ensure we had everything needed and conversation was never dull! Couple of shouts outs also to firstly mustaffa pool waiter, non stop all day every day of our trip to ensure we was always hydrated and had what we needed, he’s so polite and even in the heat still smiling !! also Ahmed on the evening bar ensuring we was always watered and happy. The staff really do make this hotel and would recommend it to anyone. Highs of 38 degrees on our visit which is just what you need being from the England! We stayed in room 151 would suggest ear plugs as we got a regular wake up call from the local Hooded crows from 2am onwards most mornings if you are a light sleeper not the best when you love a snoozey lay in. Only things would suggest is perhaps music around the pools in the day and if you are desperate for a bit of Wi-Fi to pay for it. We would 100% return ♥️

Nothing was too much trouble from the service, food, cleanliness, gardens and grounds to our room (249) was definitely 5*. Thank you to you all for making our holiday sooo perfect. Your staff are amazing and work so hard and very long hours but remain smiling and happy.

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from a 10 night stay at this wonderful hotel. From start to finish the staff can’t do enough for you and are practically waiting on you hand and foot. The room/ the hotel: The room itself was very nice, clean and tidy everyday by our lovely cleaner Hassan (see photo). He changed our pool/beach towels daily in the evening once we returned to the room and always made sure we were happy with the room. The hotel was kept clean and tidy throughout our stay really can’t fault this as they work so hard to keep the standards so high. The pool: There are 2 pools at this hotel, we used the one with the beds in the pool as the sun seemed to stay here later on in the day. They were a little bit cold but it was nice to get in and cool off after laying in 35+ degrees! Shoutout to our pool waiter Ali (I didn’t get his last name or a picture!) he was super friendly and always checking in if we needed a drink and asking how we were - a really lovely man! The beach: The hotel has its own private section on the beach which we only used a couple of times but it was lovely and clean and lots of beds available. The bar staff were working hard down there too. This was 5 mins walk from the hotel and there was also a beach bar down there but we didn’t use this. There is a pier off to the left of the beach where you can walk down and get in to do some snorkelling - which is amazing! The water is so clear and you can see so many kinds of fish! The food: We were told the main buffet restaurant had themed nights. We didn’t feel like this was the case, it was all pretty much the same every night but that being said there was still lots of choice, but it did tend to be majority of the same things. *warning poo talk* - we did have upset stomachs pretty much every day we were there but it didn’t make us ill. They give you bottled water every day in the room and you can have the ice but we still managed to have ‘Egypt belly’. But nothing some tablets didn’t cure. The pool bar was great for lunch as this served different foods at lunch time so it made a change from the buffet. You can also visit the hotel’s restaurant (which we didn’t) and another restaurant of your choice - we picked ‘The Grill’ this was a really nice night - the food was lovely, we had onion rings & breaded wings, cheeseburger & chicken skewers & then cheesecake and brownie for pudding. Very big portions but lovely & made a change from the buffet / being served your food. Massive shoutout to Mamoud Atti (I hope I’ve spelt that correctly- he is in the photo) who was our waiter most evenings and was super friendly and amazing at his job!! The reps: The reps at the hotel were really friendly, they came round a couple of times to check everyone was ok and had everything they needed. Ali was our main rep and he was super friendly and helpful. Ben also took us out snorkelling and he was nice too. We found that all the staff here were really friendly & always asked how you were which I think was nice. Makadi Water World: We visited here on one of our days, we caught a free shuttle bus from outside the hotel and spent a few hours there. Very cheap and wasn’t too busy either, the ticket included lunch & drinks. The shop owners across the road can be a bit annoying, but that’s how they get business I suppose! Always barter with them and never pay the first price they state. The shop owner in the hotel was actually really lovely and liked to have a chat with us when we went in there. This hotel was lovely & definitely matches up to its 4 stars (I would even say it’s close to a 5!) We cannot find any faults in this hotel! Thankyou to all the staff & keep up the good work!

After a chaotic start at Bristol Airport on 13th June booking in with staff not knowing what left leg or the right leg was doing we eventually got to fast track Security, where the staff where really friendly and sailed straight through. The flight took off on time and landed in Hughanda a schedule. We paided our $25 at the two wooden booths on the right as you exit departure. Despite TUI waving at you to come to them so they can charge more. We found our coach easily and was introduced to Ali our TUI rep who was amazing from start to finish and anything you needed or wanted was no trouble. We where met by staff at the Hotel and given drinks and cold flannels in reception on arrival whilst administration and room passes etc took place. A late buffet was laid on whilst our cases where taken to our room. The room was large , very clean and had everything we wanted. The bed 🛌 was extremely comfortable, there was a small mini bar in which soft drinks where free. ( alcoholic beverages are charged ) . Ali gave a talk in the morning at 10am telling us about the Hotel and exersions available and how too book. Also introduced us to the Tui entertainment guy Ben. As we settled in to the Hotel ot quickly became noticable that each and every staff member was friendly, polite and would all go out of there way to make sure your stay at this amazing hotel was 5 star 🌟 treatment. The Restaurant staff , Naga , Taher, Mahmoud, Atito, amongst some all go the extra mile and treat you all as family 👪. My wife had a Birthday whilst there and all the staff came out to sing a dance in Egyptian style, with presents and a Birthday cake made by the head chef 👨‍🍳. Our favourite bar tender was Moustafa without a doubt cheeky and always smiling despite the long hours in the heat. This young man 19 years made our Holiday. We decided to go on a trip into the main town and on route we visit one of the main Mosqe where you can go in and look around, then explore the marina or shop. We also did a trip to Paradise Island where you have a boat trip and get the chance to do snorkeling off the boat. ( I would recommend that you are a strong swimmer, as the diving guide will quickly out swim you leaving you stranded in the water ) the island itself is Beautiful with a restaurant and toilet facilities. A Buffet lunch is provided on the Island and time to relax or swim, walk etc. The best bit for me was the Quad Bike and Safari trip, we chose the early morning trip as the sun was not at it's hottest point ( still extremely hot though ) with a quick safety briefing we set off across the desert in groups. Very hot and dusty , you will need old clothes, a shamag a good pair of sunglasses or ski googles. At the end you get a 5 minute camel 🐫 ride and photos and also get a cuppa tea 🍵 in the small village in the desert. The beach is a 5 minute walk through the spotless clean and beautiful gardens, with flowers and model displays throughout. This leads to a private beach and restaurant for hotel guests only. Drinks delivered to you under your beach ⛱️ umbrella by your bar tender. Sunglasses cleaned, boiled sweets given out. Anyone thinking of a trip to Egypt 🇪🇬 this hotel will not disappoint you. I would rate rate this hotel a thousand stars. I will definitely be booking up next year. Only moans being the WiFi is not great but your on holiday not on your phone all day. The shop keepers on the main street, will do anything to get you to buy from them. Once they have you in there shop be very careful as they will robb you of your money 💰.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 week in November & booked to go again for 2 weeks this time. We were not disappointed. Staff remembered us from before and nothing was too much trouble. Omar, Yousef & Gidlia (I hope I have spelt it correct) were exceptional in the restaurant we wanted to give them a tip personally but they put all the tips in a box and share it out. Our shower was not draining away properly we told the lady that comes around the pool to check everything is ok, by the time we went back to our room after the pool it was sorted and we were called that evening to check it was ok excellent service. Food is great so much choice no one could ever say they couldn't find anything to eat, I was just looking around and the head chef said if there is anything we want cooked let him now but I was just deciding what to eat. Ali the TUI rep was great and sorted a trip out for us and also rang the taxi company to find out what time they were picking us up to go to the airport.

Slight negative that needs to be known is the mini bar and snacks supplied in room are not inclusive except the soft drinks and after delays and a long day did not check this just wanted a beer, two beers and two wines worked out at an eye watering 47 pounds in our money. Apart from this the resort is really clean, the room was really quite spacious with a private balcony and a lovely bathroom and large bed. The staff at the hotel are great and the food always had a different theme. As with other TUI adults only we have visited there is a lovely calm and peaceful air to the hotel and overall had a great relaxing holiday, and we’re quite surprised how nice Egypt and the people are there.

Been home 5 days from a wonderful holiday in this wonderful hotel. I suffer from celiac disease and when I gave them a card and a letter in Arabic from the celiac society, they were very accommodating. The head chef cooked me two very special meals (His name was Naga, not sure how you spell his name but he was incredible.) in fact everyone was. I had waffles and pancakes made separately for me and they were incredible, I had no upset tummy for the fortnight we were there. My husband and I couldn’t believe how long their work hours were but were always very attentive and all with a good sense of humour. The grounds were beautiful. Our room was beautiful with an amazing clean day after day. One thing I did miss were the towels made into swans or a monkey etc Didn’t get his name, but our room was 151 we arrived on 06/05/22 A few negatives, no entertainment board to let you know what was going to happen each day/night. We weren’t worried as we were happy to go to our room, relax and read. However some people would love the entertainment so would need to take this on board. The tea and cake at 4pm was a hit and miss for me. I did have some gluten free cake 3 days of the holiday, but the men in the lido bar weren’t as helpful as I would of liked them to of been. THE HOTELS 🐈 Wow, this was one crazy cat ladies idea of heaven, but so upset that I had to leave him behind. He snuggled up to me and my husband, I was smitten. He had no name 😧 So I called him sphinxy! We went on a couple of trips. Very enjoyable. I’ve tried to upload photos, however they won’t load. If you want a relaxing holiday then this is one place to go. Perfect weather, perfect pool, an amazing private beach and phenomenal food!

Booked this hotel as a break for some sunshine and relaxation. This lived up to every hope and more. The staff that work for this hotel are an absolute asset to the hotel and their brand. From the poolside servers, to those working in the various restaurants and bars, reception, housekeeping, facilities and gardeners, the hotel exceeded our expectations and was beyond impressive. The beach is also well worth a quick walk, the sea is beautiful and refreshing, particularly in the morning.

First time to Hurghada,it was a wonderful stay the sun shone everyday, never a cloud in the sky. One slight bug bear was when we got to hotel late on the Monday evening, they said there was food for us, but it wasn't a great selection to be honest. The staff from the gardeners, pool guys, sunglasses man, restaurant waiters/bar staff are so helpful, friendly, polite. Making sure you have enough to drink from in the restaurant, by the pool and beach always someone there. Our garden room location was brilliant, spacious, air con, toiletries, hairdrier, bath robes, slippers everything you need & more always kept clean and tidy by the staff who always said hello & ask how we were. Everywhere you go it is so immaculately clean, even in the gardens so well presented. The food is absolutely astounding, attention to detail with all the displays & there is a chef to ask about something if your not sure what it is, so much choice & themed evening. Must say "The Grill" was remarkable, the meal was exceptional so fresh & tasty, again staff so helpful. Lovely 5 mintues walk to the beach & the reef has so many fish to watch if you go snorkling, life guard on duty as well. Fresh pool towels delivered every evening to your room. Ali the TUI rep was always about & had time to explain thingsto you. Evening entertaiment had a varitey & there where 5 girls that performed synchronized show it was fab. Hats off to everyone would highly recommend, perfect hotel
