First time in Egypt. We chose this hotel, as we are two young female travellers and it was advertised as family and couples only. In my opinion there was families there however anybody could just walk in the hotel; it was not exclusive. Door safety at the entrance was questionable. I’m not sure if they knew who belonged to the hotel or not. The hotel is advertised as 4 star, and the images attached to the website support this. In its own right this may be true in the context of Egypt. However in person these images are true to an extent. We chose this hotel, as we are two young female travellers and it was advertised as family and couples. The first room we stayed in was close to the main entrance, and was full of damage (toilet leaking, broken bed inoperable fire alarm), unkept and most definitely a smokers room. With a few complaints to the manager and Rep at the hotel, we were moved to a room above the private restaurant. This was much larger in size and cleaner than the previous room. The only issue was a toilet leak which they ‘quick fixed’ with cement’. This did not fix the leak completely but it was manageable. The female staff at this hotel; we’re well presented and are nice and interact with you. Male staff when we arrived had no uniform on, it wasn’t until later you could identify them. You can imagine the concern we had when what looks like a random person knocking on your door just after you’ve arrived at your room. However the male staff (chefs) are creeps quite simply, trying to flirt and get in the pants of every female no matter how young. It is a shame as this is a family hotel and the staff act like predators. The cleaner we had worked very hard and did their best to make room in despair liveable, giving us water bottles. The animation team were good, always encouraging us and other members to get involved with the day time activities. If you stay I recommend going to the ‘disco’ with them. You get a transfer there and back, 1 hour of free drinks and good music at various clubs for about €10/£8. There was a variety of night time shows and kids entertainment; it’s a one week schedule that is repeated. Food was basic and we quickly became bored of it. There are many restaurants including McDonald’s and cafes outside the hotel, which are reasonably priced offering better quality meals. Drinks, whether alcohol or juice were in single use plastic cups which I believe are washed and reused. I recommend bringing or buying a cup to use for the duration of your stay. Pool was clean, slides were rarely on. Neither of the pools are heated and are considerably colder than the sea. Beach is small and man made, but is a nice place to lounge. In January it wasn’t busy so it was fine, might not be the case in high season. The custom of this hotel was a Russian majority; with many Polish, Belarusian and Ukrainians at the time of our stay. Therefore is wasn’t very diversified with western Europeans if that is what you are looking for. Overall, it was a average stay.m, which progressively got better apart from the weird male staff. I wouldn’t stay here again. If you were to pay €500pp for this you would regret it. In terms of star ratio. I think this would be 2 star maximum in comparison to a Western European hotel.…

Holiday from hell family of 10 four rooms got there late bar was shut so couldn't get water anywhere after 9 hrs traveling air conditioning broke for three day changed to another room fridge was frozen didn't fix anything my other family in three other apartments never had there rooms cleaned the whole two weeks medication went missing for my nephew epilepsy seen management basically called us lyers there staff wouldn't have took it two of the rooms the safes were broken no toilet rolls we were the only English there apart from a couple from London my daughter was in public toilet when she came out the cubicle a male cleaner came in and asked her for a kiss she was very shocked as she had my three grandchildren with her management just wouldn't listen the same with the rep food horrible nothing for the British last day leaving late for flight home as check out is 12 with wrist bands taking off you asked for to hire a room for late check out they said there were no rooms available let us have a shower guess what in a empty room with hand towels to dry ourselves on so why didn't they let us have that this is definitely not a 4 * they don't like the English no cocktail and tea coffee water in little plastic cups that you have to que up for in the heat the beer is awful there were also cockroaches in my room and lots of bugs in the family apartments that were not cleaned I could go on if you are British do not go here you will be dissatisfied with everything…

Hotel status does not match 4 *. Upon entering the room, we concluded that the bed linen had not been changed. many rooms have damaged laminate floors instead of tiles. The doors of the showers are not cleaned, you can see the messages left by previous guests. The service staff in the restaurant is very kind. It may be that it tends to ignore Russian-speaking customers, but not everyone who speaks Russian is Russian. Although the payment counted all inclusive, I chose to dine outside the hotel. Virtually nothing was available. Freshly squeezed fruit juices and strawberries, only for a fee. The hotel staff did not respond to the fact that the party was not over at 11:30 pm, which disrupted the night's sleep.

The rooms were old, dirty, air condidioning does not work. The drinks were served in 150 ml plastic cups, even the beer. The food was ok-ish. The staff at the bars, lobby and pool bar, were always bothered by the guests asking for drinks, they were behaving really badly, making fun and faces at the guests. The staff in the restaurant was ok, especially Layla, she was very nice and helpful. The animation team are also great, all good people. The management really is bad, as they don't allow direct tips to all staff, we also complained about the beer being served in tiny cups, they said they will change that, but nothing happened. The beach was tiny. The pool was old, water was cold. The location is nice because it is in the center of Hurghada.
