I have enjoyed my stay at this hotel alot ... it was amazing in everything ,,, beach is perfect sandy beach where the sea is amazing ,,, food is very good quality and alot of different food types ,its taste is amaaaaazing ,,, all food types are made perfectly ,,, all working staff encluding ( shift mangers , chef , restaurant workers , animation , receptionists) are very helpful and soooooo nice to all guests ,,, every day all of them ask us if there is anything annoying us in our stay , is the food is good ,is everything ok .. there are diff restaurants Italian, badwy, Asian, midternen restaurant you can choose any of them to have a dinner their food is also perfect .. nice small aqua park for children reasonable for adults ... everyone is seeking how to satisfy you ,,, disinfectant is everywhere ... We had stayed at the Sunrise Royal Makadi, and went to the “Madinat Makadi pharmacy” , it located on the territory of Jaz Makadi Saraya. We had enjoyed that pharmacy too much, especially the seller - Hany. He helped us to choose the best pills. The pills from the allergic, had treated me after one pill! THANK YOU, HANY! Recommended this pharmacy!!!!

Sunrise royal makadi bay has been the perfect choice for our family winter sun school break. The staff are incredibly accommodating and helpful from the front desk, to the room staff to the beach crew and the animation team. We have been spoilt all week 🥰 The gym is very well equipped and a pleasure to use with a terrace and views over the pool Our boys loved the waterside aqua park. The family suite rooms are spacious and very practical with a closing door separating adult room from the kids. Bathroom and furnishings (couch) need to be renovated / updated. The beds are firm 👌recommendation : would be good to have a separate toilet from the bathroom, hence two toilets. Internet functions everywhere which is a plus! The spa treatments are on site are easy to book and change. Accommodating therapists Simplistic massages, ask for oil 😉 foot and hand treatments nourishing. The 2h private family experience was appreciated by our two boys (sauna, spa, massage,hammam) although felt rushed for the adults. The ‘reserving ‘ of beach beds front row becomes very annoying. Towels and bags but no people from 6-9. Hotel should make people remove items if nobody is staying. Due to COVID many restaurants/spaces were closed. We missed having a bar/ lounge area to play cards and relax after dinner. It was too windy and cold to stay outside in the evening. We would have loved an Egyptian lounge area protected from the wind The other area we missed was a reading / library and games room. Ideas for your new hotel being renovated perhaps ? Food : The buffet was exceptional. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and happy to interact with the clients. The Egyptian food was delicious. We were thrilled to discover new flavors and recipes. There is something for everyone. The kids were delighted. However ; the restaurants where we booked- a la carte were not up to the same standard as the buffet. The food was often over cooked and served too quickly, potentially reheated ? The fish in general was of poor quality of which I expected better being by the sea. Most were battered or floured with a strange texture. Breakfast catered for everyone of every taste. Coffee : need a ‘real’ expression machine. The coffee is terrible 😫 Snorkling trip was very enjoyable - organised to the right of the beach. The horse riding was superb! A must. The trip is organised on the beach to the left. They take you 10 mins away from the hotel. The horses are well cared for and very obedient. Highly recommended the sunset 2h tour 👌 Hotel quality manager (Mr Mohammed Ali) was extremely helpful and efficient in organizing PCR tests for our trip back home. If you are hesitating , don’t ! Sun Rise Makadi Resort is amazing hotel. It has everything you need for any type of holiday (family, young people or romantic couples trip). Hotel has big green territory, lots of swimming pools (some of them are heated), nice aquapark, amazing private sunny beach and excellent animation team. All staff speak English. All inclusive option was excellent with lots of choice - definitely the best one I've ever had in other hotels in Egypt! I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and will do everything possible to comeback there soon :)

This is our third time staying at the Sunrise Royal Makadi. I personally wouldn't stay anywhere else in Hurghada because once you've experienced the best you don't want anything less. Rooms - we always get a family suite. It's perfect because there is an adjoining door to the kids' room. It means the kids have their own space but then once they've gone to sleep you can watch TV, sit on the balcony with a drink and generally have time and space to yourself without having to worry about waking them. Family friendly - this is the perfect resort for families. There is literally everything you could possibly ask for for kids from a fantastic aqua park with loads of different waterslides to a host of different water sports on the beach. The animation team are amazing! They run a range of fun activities for the kids and adults; water polo tug of wars, darts, volleyball to only start. They are so friendly and helpful particularly Lauren! It's so nice that we're remembered by all the staff it adds a really personal and welcoming touch. Services - the spa and beauty centre are fabulous! They are super accommodating, even allowing my children to use the jacuzzi and supervising them so that I can get a massage!! SUCH A TREAT! THANK YOU!! Food and drink - just everything you could ask for. My kids especially love the breakfast. There are all you can eat buffet style breakfasts, lunches and dinners but also a range of a la cart restaurants. There are a number of snack bars as well so that you can always get a burger, pizza, chips no matter what time. Bars are dotted around all over the place so you can always get a drink. My kids just love the ice cream machine which they can use whenever they like.... Dangerous!! I honestly couldn't fault this resort on anything. It is relaxing, fun, entertaining and so friendly.
