Location Our guide said that this hotel was the best in the Sinai area. The overall look of the resort is good ( it has a big swimming pool) but the rooms and bathroom are really worthy of a two star hotel rating only. The water from the tap is also brownish. The food was terrible. They did not even...

In a place where there are few (or no) other choices, this place looks pretty good. We were there at a time that it was so cold, it snowed. The dining area was freezing, and food choices somewhat limited, but okay. The next morning, the dining room was still cold, but the dining area manager brought omelets to each table,...

This is a place for tour groups to stay before going to Mount Sinai. The place itself is more like a place for people to have a retreat. Great outdoor swimming pool, although we can't swim in March, too cold! The place for dinner / breakfast was huge, although breakfast was just alright. There are several souvenir stores as well...

Overall maintenance and plumbing is badly needed and extra effort would surely make the place more decent and attractive. The hot water was good enough but rooms on the 1st floor suffer problems with supply and flow consistency. The single bed was barely intact and I am glad that I only weighed 60kg. I doubt it would hold someone larger...

This hotel is a very basic desert hotel with few amenities. However, it is probably the best property within hundreds of kilometers of Mount Sinai. Huge pool and Spartan rooms but the proprietors are gracious and accommodating. Probably the best choice available.

I stayed at Morgenland on my way to climb Mount Sinai, also known as Mount Horeb or Mount Musa). The hotel was among the best choice around St. Catherine, in the middle of deserted mountain. The hotel was stone and brick building, I had a room at the main entrance, on the second floor. The hotel does not have a...

I stay at Morgenland, not far from Mount Sinai. The location of the place with awesome scenery, quite a natural and beautiful. My room was clean, simple and also fresh air. The view from my room's window is very beautiful. The food served varied and delicious. There are also local food worth a try. Everyone very friendly.

Stayed for a night on May 2016 with a conducted tour group in this hotel right at the foot of Mt. Sinai. Convenient location for travellers crossing over to Egypt at Taba border and visiting St. Catherine Monastry. Do not expect much from it. As scores of groups pass through this route, it is very crowded, almost chaotic at breakfast...

Very pleasant hotel, simple, but quite adequate. That is with the exception of no wifi except at the shops in the lobby. Naturally, there is significant pressure to buy something if the proprietor lets you sign on to wifi. The objective of our trip was to see sights in Egypt, so a luxury hotel was neither needed or expected. Interestingly,...
