This hotel is a very basic desert hotel with few amenities. However, it is probably the best property within hundreds of kilometers of Mount Sinai. Huge pool and Spartan rooms but the proprietors are gracious and accommodating. Probably the best choice available.

I stayed at Morgenland on my way to climb Mount Sinai, also known as Mount Horeb or Mount Musa). The hotel was among the best choice around St. Catherine, in the middle of deserted mountain. The hotel was stone and brick building, I had a room at the main entrance, on the second floor. The hotel does not have a...

I stay at Morgenland, not far from Mount Sinai. The location of the place with awesome scenery, quite a natural and beautiful. My room was clean, simple and also fresh air. The view from my room's window is very beautiful. The food served varied and delicious. There are also local food worth a try. Everyone very friendly.

Stayed for a night on May 2016 with a conducted tour group in this hotel right at the foot of Mt. Sinai. Convenient location for travellers crossing over to Egypt at Taba border and visiting St. Catherine Monastry. Do not expect much from it. As scores of groups pass through this route, it is very crowded, almost chaotic at breakfast...

Very pleasant hotel, simple, but quite adequate. That is with the exception of no wifi except at the shops in the lobby. Naturally, there is significant pressure to buy something if the proprietor lets you sign on to wifi. The objective of our trip was to see sights in Egypt, so a luxury hotel was neither needed or expected. Interestingly,...

Overall was a pleasant place as I heard this was the best place in ST Katherine. We arrived in the afternoon which allowed us to have a quick rest and enjoy some scenery right before we climber up the famous Mt Sinai. The hotel is surrounded in beautiful scenery and the pool in the middle looks inviting. However I don't...

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night only and less than 12 hours at that. From what I've seen, and considering the area, it's good enough. The room was smallish, and the simple basics were provided. The tile in my room was cracked. We stayed there in spring and it was cold inside the room, even without the airconditioning!...

Almost every tour group will take you here to stay before Sinai journey the next day. They said this is the best hotel around here. So sad... The room is small, moreover the bathroom... Dirty and very small... If you have big posture maybe you cannot close the bathroom door. Cannot sleep at all. Dinner and breakfast were awful. Cannot...

Good choice and Location, considering there are not that many choices. Beautiful view and outdoor area. The Bedouin Tent experience was cool and new experience. Food was buffet style, few options but good quality. The room was fine had the basics, quiet & slept well so that's important, however it was not clean. The pool looked nice, couldn’t use it...
