We spent a week at Nakia, and loved it. Robin and Jim, and the staff are great. The only problem with the food was that there was too much. Great quality, and good variety. The pool is terrific, the sunsets were wonderful. I went snorkeling, and that was great. I would stay here again.

It is such pleasure to write a note and share a bit about our exquisite vacation at Nakia Eco-Resort. From the moment we were met at the airport, followed by our greeting at Nakia of cool Oshibori towels and fresh squeezed Kumquat juice, we were pampered and delighted every single day. The owners, Jim, Robin, and Julie authentically care that...

Robin and Jim and Julie and staff treat you like family! We had a wonderful time and the diving was fabulous! When the weather turned bad, their hospitality never ceased. We would highly recommend this resort - especially the sunset bure. Louise from Boston.

We loved the Nakia Eco-Resort. We were picked up at the airport upon arrival in Taveuni. The accommodations were great, the landscaping was amazing and the views were incredible. The owners, Jim and Robin with their daughter Julie, who runs Taveuni Water Sports, and the staff, were the nicest people we have ever encountered in our extensive travels. This was...

I spent two weeks at the resort and fell in love with Nakia, it's family and the most delicious food ever. Robin, Jim and family made me feel at home. Very clean, comfortable, beautiful place to stay and the incredible service and food can not be beat any where. I hope to visit again soon.

I have never written a review on Trip Advisor before, but my husband showed me the highly negative review posted by hutuandtutsi. Given the specific criticisms they list, I feel fairly sure they were guests along with our family at Nakia in December 2011 because we all remarked that this couple found nothing positive to say even after going on...

This was our second time visiting Nakia. We considered our first trip two years ago the trip of our lives, but, thanks to the perfect diving and gracious hosts, it was even better the second time. Last visit we stayed for 5 nights and visited Castaways in the Mamanuca island group. This time, as our time at Nakia was simply...

This is the first review we have written in TripAdvisor although we always rely on the reports to make vacation decisions. After reading the "Slightly Creepy" review posted on January 24, 2012, we felt compelled to comment on some of their accusations based on our experience and observations of this couple since we were at Nakia during the majority of...

We stayed here for over a week and while the manicured lawns and local staff were absolutely lovely, we constantly felt uneasy with US owners Jim and Kelly. It would be little things that added up, like asking could we perhaps not have croutons on our daily salad please, as we were on a diet (we were on full board),...

An undeserved and inaccurate review such as this makes it difficult to respond objectively. We are a small, family-owned-and-managed eco-resort. We take enormous pride in our business, in which we offer a relaxing experience in clean, well-furnished accommodations and great diving, with excellent meals. 96% of our guests who write reviews agree with us. We do this while maintaining a...
