This is a long overdue review of 5 amazing days we spent at Namena this past September. In now way could I do justice to just how great this place is if you're the sort who likes to get off the beaten track, and doesn't mind (very slightly) roughing it, then you'll be rewarded a thousand times over with a...

We stayed 6 nights here and came for the diving. Our bure was Nemo and was simple but adequately appointed and situated looking out at sea as all the bures do. All our meals were good and a real variety. The staff are first class and were so attentive and welcoming and to my mind absolutely make the resort. You...

Words can't describe how magical our Honeymoon was at Namena Island!! An amazing island resort with such a friendly and passionate staff. We made the decision to stay here for a week in order to experience the diving since we had heard so many great stories. We simply could not believe it as it was absolutely incredible diving which certainly...

I don't know how to explain what this place is like except to say that it will always hold a special place in our hearts and we'd love to go back. We wanted somewhere that wasn't touristy, had great diving, and had a nice sandy beach. Namena Island Resort was definitely all of those! To only have a maximum of...

There is nothing like Namena. In the middle of Namena Marine Reserve it is so near all the wonderful dive sites that involve a significant boat ride from other resorts. Dive time is maximized and boat time minimized. The dive staff is excellent Both knowledgeable and attentive There are so many varied sites to explore and to revisit Lovely pristine...

A boat trip from Savusavu, which could be challenging in rough weather, takes you the island as it grows on the horizon. The resort is a small and simple one, built along the main ridge of the island with 112 steps from the landing jetty and marine activities area to the ridge top paths. On arrival you are welcomed in...

After a 28 mile boat ride we arrived at the mile long island and reef which is a marine reserve. While some of the 6 guest bures are now equipped with solar lights, our bure sitting high on the steep hillside had gas lights in the evening and for our hot water. Four of the six sides could be opened...

No pictures can do this place justice, it is absolutely spectacular, the very essence of adventure. The moment you see the island on the horizon with it's green jungle, turquoise water and soaring white birds you are reminded of every adventure story ever told, but it's better! Namena is lush and rugged and wild and gorgeous. My daughter and I...

This is a small simple resort being upgraded. Six small , clean bures on a hill overlooking an incredible view of the surrounding reef. Not luxury accommodations, but wonderful staff and world class diving. Nothing else to do here but dive or sit on the beach. There are a few day sailboats and kayaks, but this is a diver's resort....

Two years ago a friend and I spent a week at Namena. Getting there is a challenge, but totally worth the effort. we happened to be the only guests there that week so it was our private paradise. The Figian hosts, Nigel and Aggie could not have been more gracious, the food was fresh (much of it grown right there)...
