I only went to this place for a kite and lunch to check it out. Warren the owner was pleasant but the prices he quoted were outrageous and one just got the impression that he sized me up for my ability to pay before quoting.... $2000 Australian per week for very average looking accommodation and food. I was also told...

Our beachfront bure (cabin) was spacious and had a nice architecture. We had a terrace with a great view of the sea - 20 meters or so from the water's edge. The atmosphere of the place was laid-back - very relaxed. The location was spectacular - beautiful, undisturbed beaches and coral reefs close by. The lodge had a good selection...

Safari Lodge is super special; you don't find something like it on every holiday! Really great kiting spots and awesome opportunities to get better. It's also just a really incredible place to be (even if you dont kite or wind surf or you just want to relax), whether you're reading a book, snorkelling, diving, or eating really tasty food! Super...

A small group of 6 people survived cyclone Winston in the lodge's mainhouse thanks to Warren's (the Australian owner's) preparations and intelligent construction of this place. So if you ever want to experience the eye of a storm, you can do so here and be completely safe (and have lots of gin tonics afterwards)! Thank you guys, what an experience!...

We went as a beginner - intermediate windsurfing group. Bring your own gear and look out for each other - there can be no 'support crew' present depending on the time u choose to go. The gear there was poorly maintained... Dont count on renting unless things have changed. The house on the hill we had was such a lovely...

Wanting to escape all the bridesmaids and the drunk backpacker crowd, I arrived to this isolated island for a winter get-away, and I stayed for a month. Cyclone season proved to be completely cyclone-free, probably 1-2 days of rain only! The ocean-view villa became my impromptu office (for I can work as long as I have good internet, and wifi...

After a week of a beautiful private luxury home, I had to make a quick mental adjustment to this more remote, communal and basic accommodations. It didn't take long to adapt to the more simple setting, as the wind was howling and the people were so friendly and welcoming. It is an understatement to say I felt like long lost...

Our stay at Safari lodge was very good. Owner (Warren) was super friendly. When you are there it feels like home stay. You have group dinners where all people that stay there eat and hang together. It's easy to connect with people and engage in conversation. Beach next to lodge is nice but was very windy when we were there....

The stay was quiet awesome! Despite the rainy and windy weather everything was fantastic. The stuff looked after us and Warren was very helpful. Food was very good - very homely and you could eat as much as you wanted. This is the place for the adventure lovers - especially if you love nature!

Visited not so long back. Warren and his staff were very nice and hospitable to my friends and I. Despite the good things about this place, the 'meal plan' which they recommend (unsurprisingly) is a total let down for the price you are paying, I expected a lot more than just pasta and salad, and toast for breakfast. I would...
