My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at the Maya Vista, in Tela. It is a very unique hotel, and the rooms and dining room have a fantastic view of the Caribbean Sea. In fact, we could lie in bed and look through our glass doors at the ocean! The food is also great, though rather expensive. The staff...

There is much to like about the Maya Vista, beginning with its owner, Pierre, a French-Canadian ex-pat, who will make you feel very much at home (and offers valuable assistance about things to do, places to eat, and transportation) The Maya Vista is an unusually-designed place that sits in the trees on a hill overlooking Tela and the bay ......

This hotel has the most amazing views. The staff is nice and courteous. The food in the restaurant is very good. The hotel is surrounded by mango trees so it feels like you are in a treehouse. The hotel is in a great location and once we got our bearings, we could navigate the area well. Pierre is a very...

As you might imagine from the title one of the biggest selling points of this hotel is its spectacular view, as well as having excellent food. The negative is that you do have to walk a couple of blocks to get to the public beach. Great attention as well.

We recently stayed at the Maya Vista Hotel and found it very comfortable and just what we needed after a long trip through Central America. The hotel is on a hill and built amongst three tall mango trees so each room feels like you are in a tree house. We sat on our terrace in the mornings and evenings and...

Enjoyed our two night visit to the Maya Vista. Stayed there two years ago, and the hotel is just as good (if not better with the addition of a little swimming pool which we didn't have time to use.) Convenient in-town location, good value, clean, amazing views, nice staff, felt safe. Free wifi although the signal in the room wasn't...

After going to Punta Sal with my boyfriend we went to this Hotel and we loved it for so many reasons, # 1 the view, we think it is the only hotel in Tela that has a scenic viewpoint on the last floor from where you can see the whole bay of Tela, it is amazing, the prices are reasonable,...

We stayed for a week in the middle of June and everything was great. The room, the view, the pools, the location, the service, everything! We had a great time and the Maya Vista will be where we stay on our next visit to Tela!

We are North American's currently living in San Pedro Sula that travel through Tela on a frequent basis. Someone recommended the restaurant so we stopped by one day to take a look. We were amazed at the view alone and wanted to give this place a closer look next time we were spending the night in Tela. We were not...

I stayed at Maya Vista for a few days in April 2013, with my parents and a friend. As it was semana santa everywhere in Tela was pretty packed, but we managed to get a room at Maya Vista, and it wasn't so expensive as some places. The room we had was lovely - two double beds and one single,...
