We had an excellent two night stay in Applebay guesthouse. It is a little difficult to find (hidden away behind club house) and that's what ensures it is a quiet oasis where you can enjoy a lovely chai masala in the garden from which you're looking up into the mountains. The owner is also very helpful and friendly. As a...

Banging views, cheap prices and lovely owners. Set away from the busier part of town amongst a lovely orchard, stayed there for 7 nights, really enjoyed our time there. Can't book online but can try and phone, if not best just to walk up and ask. A communal balcony on every floor makes for a friendly and social atmosphere. Food...

We stayed there for two days and we had a really nice time. The host family is very warm and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We deeply recommend this place to everyone who wants to feel in contact with nature and very close to the fabulous Old Manali.

Apple view by far the best place we have stayed in India. It is located in one of the best places in Manali, far from the noise and crowd. You feel like you are in little paradise. The rooms are simple but spacious and neat. But most importantly, it run by a great local family. With their attentiveness and smiles...

I have been here and the rate very cheap compared to other guesthouse surrounding. The surrounding is to die for, the mountain with snow capped view is just from my room. Is it wowww?? Eventhough the room is basic and simple, but with the rate 200 Rp that time for solo bacpacker, that was more than enough. Good hot water,...

Me and a friend stayed here for 11 nights and loved every minute! Rooms are big, spacious and superb value for money, with big windows that look out towards the snow capped Himalayas. It's located about a 5 minute walk to Old Manali where there are many nice restaurants, although lovely food is served at Apple View for a brilliant...

Appleview guest house is tucked away on grounds that are about 30 feet higher than the road that approaches it. You can't even see the guest house from down the road. A 4-5 minute hike from the road brings one to this guest house. It's a really good budget stay. It isn't located in the part of Old Manali that...

I came to Appleview based off the recommendation of a traveler and I am so glad I did. The owners are incredible, the view is spectacular, the vibe unbeatable. The food is super cheap and delicious. You have to take a relatively dangerous/narrow pathway really high up to get there but it's part of the fun and charm. It's 5-10...

“Make sure you choose a room facing the river, on the topmost floor (topmost floor, if you want attached toilets). It's an exhilarating feeling to step out of the room and look at that view. The height of the guest house itself and the two floors adds up to a good panorama.”
