The Himalayan is a beautiful hotel, surrounded by snow capped mountains with picture post card views every where you look. The thing that strikes you the most is the attention to detail, not only in the decor but the hospitality as well. We stayed in the cottages and you get a beautiful scenic view of the mountains. The cottages are very comfortable, the little balcony attached to the room is the perfect place to sit and sip a cup of tea while you look upon the snow capped peaks. We had a very comfortable stay, the rooms were adequately heated even though it was freezing outside. If you like gardens, you will love spending time just walking around the grounds. We went when it was getting quite cold so there weren't too many blooms but the crysanthemums and hydrangeas still put on a show. They serve a lovely breakfast, a a la carte so one can order from a wide variety of choices. We loved the home made apple cinnamon preserve and kiwi preserve. And a really good cup of americano that would hit the spot! All in all, we had a blissful relaxing holiday and cant wait to visit again!

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in India. Excellent rooms, super comfy and very cozy. Amazing views from everywhere you look, be it your room or common areas. Loved the castle inspired architecture. All very tastefully done. Staff is excellent too. Very friendly and very attentive. Can’t wait to visit this beautiful property again. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Third visit within an year and this beautiful gem keeps on growing on you. Service remains top class, the food is consistently good and setting remains as magical as it can get. Improvement and addition of colour in the cottages has been tastefully done. This is the first time we used the room in the castle and it’s already a favourite. All in all we look forward to our next visit to this slice of paradise. A big thanks to Nishat, Vivek and the fantabulous team at The Himalayan.

We had a lovely week long stay in this gem of a hotel. Great architecture and interiors with beautiful landscaping. It is quite obvious that all of this has been put together painstakingly. We spent hours soaking in the atmosphere. Their service is exceptional and all the continental and Indian staples are on the menu. Be certain to try the Himachali apple cider that they have on their wine list. The service is polite and efficient. Hope to come back to this slice of paradise real soon.
