The local vendors, gliding by in their shikaras, provide a floating market of fruit and flowers: an experience not to be missed. A Shikra ( Small Boat ) trip will take you through the waterlilies, to islands alive with kingfishers & past flowers gardens - including the famous gardens of shalimar - which will take your breath awys. Stayed for 1 night here & it was superb!! The service was better than 5 star! The room, bathroom, dining area, deck everything was very well maintained! Neat & clean! The food was good too. The Houseboat was gorgeous, the beds were soft and warm, the view from the balcony was spectacular, the surroundings were very beautiful and calm. The staff, especially Asif, were very nice to us. All in all, we didn't feel like leaving. Could spend days sipping Kawa on the balcony of the houseboat, while staring at the mountains. Highly recommended.

New jacquelin heritage houseboat is your home. Internal architecture was mindblowing. Beautiful, clean and hygenic rooms and excellent service is their speciality. We asked for jain food and the food they served was awesome. Service by Mr. Munir was very good. Owners Mr. Maksood Sir and his son Mr. Shami visited and took care of everything during our visit. Thanks to the houseboat owners for taking care of my parents Looking ahead to visit this houseboat again.

Had a great stay here. Amazing food. Great hospitality. Mr.munir took care of everything. No issues Very clean washroom with hot water available at all times The common area balcony have a beautiful view of the lake with the mountain backdrop However be ready for a lot of people coming by to sell stuff every 5 mins

Amazing stay must go place. Staff is really coperative and humble. Food was delicious. . Defi coming back. Munir was an amazing host. Made us feel like home. Highly recommend this house boat.

Our stay in Jacquline House boat at Nagin Lake was the last day of our trip . We were quite apprehensive as few friends of ours had discouraged us to avoid stay at houseboats . But we had the super amazing experience on this which made our trip memorable . The houseboat is very beautifully hand carved and gave us the feel of real Kashmir . Super supportive caretaker Asifji took very good care of all of us . It is an experience that every one visiting Kashmir should feel . I strongly recommend to stay in houseboat. Heavenly place it is ,calm,peaceful and cozy surrounding...with a breathtaking scenic beauty 😊
