Shivajinagar is one of the most bustling neighbourhoods located in central Bangalore, known for its shopping bargains for every mood and style. Revolved around the heritage Russell Market that provides a mélange of sights, sounds and smells, a visit here is a great exploration that takes you in lanes with vendors selling antiques furniture, flowers, meat and freshest produce to tea especially
Suleimani chai and meaty street food in the evenings. No trip is complete without a visit to Commercial Street that is lined with shops selling fabric, silver and gold jewellery, clothes and trinkets. As you shop, eat and walk around these busy streets, do take a stroll at some of beautiful old temples and a Gothic-style St. Mary’s Basilica in the neighbourhood.
