A superb place to stay in Fort Cochin: clean, spacious, affordable and central. But the biggest assett of all is MR Walton himself. Not only did he have us picked up from Kochi airport (about an hour away), he laso helped us arrange onward travel, our backwaters tour and more. Very highly recommended.

Fort Kochin was our first stop in our tour to Kerala, and we are glad that we chose to stay at Walton's Homestay. We requested our booking through e-mail and were pleasantly surprised to get a confirmed booking and a late evening pick-up from the airport without a deposit - a rarity in India.Arriving at the homestay, we were immediately...

We are a couple and stayed at Waltons on two occasions and loved it. The location is great (right in the center of town), the rooms are big and well maintained and its good value for money compared to others in town. We stayed at a few other places in town but ended up coming back here. The breaksfast was...

I had contemplated splashing out on one of the very charming but more expensive properties but am glad we settled for Walton's. The rooms are comfortable and the place is very quiet, despite a central location. Each room (or perhaps only the 'deluxe' ones) has a little sit-out area facing the garden. Mr Walton is organised and helpful. Breakfast was...

At Walton's, it is all about the finer details that makes your stay a little more magical in a beautiful town like Kochi. We travelled as a couple, and reached the inn in the evening. What drew me in was the warm glow of the library and the strains of western classical music wafting through the evening air. The rooms...

Me and my partner spent two nights at Walton's upon arrival in Kochi. After a long journey you want to stay somewhere comfortable, safe and in good proximity to everything. This place is great for that. The room was large, very clean and had a little balcony. It was in immaculate condition and overlooking the garden area. The location is...

Mr. Walton will welcome you with a detailed map of Kochin and will give you precious information. Do not miss to buy something a the little shop of Mad Dogs Trust near the homestay (I do not remember...

Stayed here in August 2011; excellent place; v well priced. Mr and Mrs Walton were lovely hosts. Room was spotless, the entire property is well taken care of, and breakfast was very nice. I loved the sit-out in front of our room. But the icing on the cake was Binoy, the driver recommended by Mr Walton. He drove us on...
