Negatives: 1. Rooms are too small; Navigation within the room is tricky even with just three small carry-on luggage. 2. Side tables are too small (less than 1' x 1') to be of any reasonable use 3. Water kettle is made of plastic and it looks dirty. 4. Mattress in twin beds is too thick and plush to be comfortable; you run the risk of falling on the floor at night; for elderly people this room is not advisable. 5. No international sockets near the side tables or narrow luggage table; there is only one international socket near floor level and unless you have an extension card, you cannot use it. 6. Shower area is too small; There is no overhead shower; instead, a hand shower is fixed as overhead shower; even that is fixed at about 6' height. Average Indian cannot easily remove it and use it at a lower level. 7. Just outside the room, dirty laundry cart as well as cleaning cart are permanently parked; it is a great eye sore. 8. Restaurant is very very expensive Positives: Clean and safe property; staff seem to be courteous; about 15 on-site car parking space. In short, the room and fittings are over optimized to save money at the expense of guest comfort.…

The hotel is located on the busy MG Road with easy access to the metro though the nearest metro station is about 10 minute walk. The reception is located on the first floor. So the lifts always stop on the 1st floor whenever you go up or down. The rooms and bathrooms are the Ibis standard small rooms and are well maintained. Breakfast was a bit disappointing due to average taste. Some items like egg preparations are not served hot as they do not have a live station. It is good if one is looking for a budget stay.

Very well located to a mall, MG Road train station and many shops and restaurants . Recommended Reasonable sized room and bathroom all very modern and very clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast. Staff Very helpful and friendly. To mention a few staff Reception- Saiket, Alan, Rimona, Anju and Rohan. Saiket & Alan in particular were at hand to provide various information that I had requested at different times. House keeping / cleaning Arun was helpful in cleaning and tidying my room. Restaurant Deepu and Rimya Security Suraj and Joysar were helpful in carrying my bags to the room

Very good hotel, front desk staff gave a quick check in and swift check out. Rooms are good compact and clean. Service is prompt. Breakfast was very nice and good variety of food.will recommend this hotel for our friends because it's centrally located.well maintain hotel.

Small and compact rooms. Washroom looks like a flight washroom. Not for families, ideal for business trips. Appreciate their efforts to provide breakfast for us early in the morning at 4:30 am. Hotel room doors have no bell and the door alarm was annoying. Restaurant food was too costly and was not tasty. Location is an advantage. Staff are polite and nice. Need to work on the cleanliness of their rooms and washrooms.

I have stayed in Ibis hotels across many countries in the world. In general, all of them are more or less similar, same layout, same room size & facilities. Ibis Kochi also not different. Neat and clean rooms but small in size as usual - which is enough for a solo or couple traveller. Toilet is small as the size of a telephone booth. Check in was slow and late since the room was not ready even at 3 pm. Breakfast was ok, hotel location is excellent - in the middle of the city. Highly recommend for short stays.
