A group of 5 of us arriving very late on 2 Oct was no problem @ Beena’s. Beena and her family are wonderful people - nothing is too much trouble. Food was amazing and there was no limit to how much you could eat. Rooms very clean fresh linen everyday. Can’t wait to go back.

We weren't familiar with homestays but thought we'd try Beena's when in Kochi. Her home is in the ideal location and the family are amazing. They make you feel very welcome and Beena and her husband are fantastic cooks - we ate some brilliant south indian meals during our stay. Lots of fresh fish, fruit and dal. Plus it's the...

Lovely place to stay in Kochi! My sister stayed here a few years back and recommended it. Rooms are simple (no amenities) but very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast and dinner are included, the food is pretty good, and there is a gathering place to meet other travelers. Note: there is no hot water in the showers (that we could figure...

We stayed at Beena's on a family trip. Beena and her husband were most accommodating and made us feel right at home. They were so lovely to the whole family - my niece and nephew wanted to keep staying there. The home-cooked meals were out of this world. Loved all the fruit, and fish and curries and everything else. The...

My husband and I stayed with Beena and her family on 30th September 2012. We arrived around 9am, well before check-in time. Beena was very welcoming and gave us some breakfast which was greatly appreciated after our journey. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. Beena and her husband are absolute gems - they really enjoy cooking for their...

We had a great time at Beena homestay. Not just was the food outstanding, but also the rooms were nice (we stayed in two different ones). They spoil their guests a bit too much because they are just always there to give you a hand and to serve MORE food. We ended up staying longer than planned because it was...

We stayed in Beena homestay for couple of days. They are simply the most splendid and most friendly hosts. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is most clean. They are very helping as they gave us the clear directions to reach the place as we were new to the place. The food they serve is really very very tasty...

Beena's Homestay was a wonderful surprise. Arriving after an eleven hour car drive from Mysore, we had a warm welcome, beautiful home cooked dinner, comfortable clean room all at a very reasonable price. It was easy to walk or get a rickshaw to everywhere and was in a quiet side street. Returning later for one night was like coming home....

Stayed here in November 2010. Staying at Beena's was so warm and welcoming it was like going back to my Mum and Dad's for dinner at the home where I grew up. Beena and her husband were looking after their young grand daughter while their daughter was at university so it made the homestay all the more authentic. They were...
