An oasis of quite between the busy Bazar road and the almost as busy port: you get to see the city teaming with life while you are relaxing on the terrace. The rooms are well-appointed and quiet, the staff smiling and helpful, the building old and pretty. Be sure to check the upstairs balcony and the adjacent studio with armchairs. All in all, it's an excellent location both for the Biennale and tourism. Thanks to everyone, and we hope one day to return.

We stayed in this property overnight. The hotel has an amazing view of backwater as the backdrop. The museum rooms are really nice. The approach of the hotel is from the wholesale market road, which is a bit unpleasing. The staff is very humble, especially Rajesh was a very good host.

This place is full of vintage charm and really feels like you are stepping back in time. It may not be to everyone's taste, as it is a bit rustic, but I personally loved stepping out of our room into a museum full of antiques! The terrace area could do with a refresh, but the views from the deck are beautiful and we loved sitting out there with a cup of tea or at breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance of the Dutch Palace and synagogue, but the road over to Fort Kochi was a pretty unpleasant walk - but we got tuk tuks over quite easily to have dinner over there.

Very nice location, historic and stately building, friendly staffs... They made me and wife feel so comfortable. I can recommend this hotel to my friends. The only thing is, hotel amenities are a little bit poor.

Bloom Boutique has an old-school vibe yet comes with all modern amenities. The staff is friendly and quick to response too. If you are looking to stay in a place that has a vintage charm, Bloom Boutique is the place to go. The property is well maintained, super clean, has great views of the backwaters and has a museum full of antiques and vintage collected pieces. The breakfast was decent but the options were limited. Give Bloom Boutique a try and you will not regret!

They have no dedicated parking space. Need to park on the road side and its a narrow road. The interiors are nicely done & kept. All the antique elements maintain the look & feel of a museum. Even the rooms are well maintained & have the antique feel. It smells like a museum in there. If you are attracted towards the antiques, you'll feel its worth the money paid. They have separate packages for photoshoots & that costs a bit too high

Stayed there for 5 days with family (wife and toddler). The hotel itself is a very well maintained old place with interesting construction. The toilets are modern and rooms were spacious and clean, which was important given that our toddler loves to run now. And the jetty area was really nice to have breakfast at. The location is around 1.5km from fort kochi, though it's around 800 meters from the Dutch Palace. We didn't mind it, since we were comfortable taking autos (they charge 50 to 80 bucks to go to Fort kochi). The ferry station for Ernakulam is withing walking distance, and we we went there to the children's park for the toddler (he loved it). The staff was friendly and it felt fairly homely.

We went to The Museum Granary for the heritage experience and we got what we asked for. The place is currently under some renovations but we had a comfortable stay, the quick resolution of any request or complaint is much appreciated. Go here for the beautiful waterfront, the boat ride and the vintage/heritage feeling. The buffet is still not ready and the food in itself wasn't the best but even with limited staff they made an earnest effort to keep guests comfortable. I'd recommend it to anyone looking at a mid-budget heritage experience
