Plush greenery and a serene atmosphere all around, a muddy rustic garden look with huts around, red hanging lanterns that light up the scene at night giving a sense of calm. A lovely eco-friendly and ayurvedic spa hotel.
The staff was extremely sweet and welcoming who guided us to the various amenities and charming ambience.The Hotel not only had a beautiful in house restaurant by the waterfront area which served great food and an ideal romantic dining spot but also had a hut sort of an dine in restaurant where we had scrumptious authentic meals.
The rooms to me were also very natural,simple, clean and reflected positivity with its very minimalism also not to forget to mention it had no television sets so we were totally away from the worldly affairs and daunting technology enjoying our connect with nature wanting it to be a peaceful stay.
Talking about the food I cannot stop gushing over it as we had the very local Kerala cuisine where in breakfast we had wheat puttu Kadla which was soo good and tempting,some staple veggie sandwiches,freshly cut fruits and pressed juices.
Talking about the main amenities and facilities they had the main for me was my spa and massage time and treatment where they offer a wide variety of options available for you to relax and feel like your in heaven just like the sirodhara one which was rejuvenating.

We spent two nights here and the breakfasts were excellent and we were seated by the water watching the red kites swooping around which added to the enjoyment. The location is great just 10 mins walk to the centre or a couple of minutes in a tuk tuk. The room was fine and all the staff very friendly and helpful. There is also a great restaurant next door,the Seagull, which serves a good variety of dishes and specialises in fish.

A great boutique hotel at an ideal location in Fort Kochi within walking distances from all major tourist attractions and shops in the Fort area. Nisha Fernandez and her staff are most welcoming, friendly, caring and outstanding in their services. The restaurant offers some of the best traditional Kerala-style dishes and European/Western style dining on the deck. The boat ride to watch the sun set on the Arabian Sea was mesmerizing and memorable. My family and I could not have chosen a better place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We shall return!

Nestled into a leafy garden, Fort House was a great spot to base for our two nights in Fort Kochi. The rooms were simple but clean and a good size. The air con and fan worked well. They have a well-regarded restaurant on site which was a lovely location to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. We ate dinner on the first night there and were not overwhelmed compared with the quality of dishes we'd had to date in India, but perhaps it was our poor choice. Would recommend the hotel for the price.

This is one of our favorite hotels in all of South India – the location is excellent and the setting is superb, right on the water in Kochi’s fort area and accessible to all major sites a visitor might wish to see. The serene and peaceful garden is a real treat, as are the chairs along the balcony where one can take in the lovely flora. The fantastic restaurant turns out carefully prepared dishes with ultra-fresh ingredients and bright flavors—the breakfast is outstanding and the views from the restaurant are just as incredible. The rooms themselves are well-appointed with traditional wood and tile. The facilities are very inviting and clean including nice toiletries in the beautiful bathrooms, laundry, room service, and ayurvedic massage and spa. Staff is professional and caring and goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing—truly superb in all ways, a hidden gem.

We had four days of treatment at Fort House Hotel, renting a hotel nearby and coming for three hours of therapy every day. It was a good one, and you could feel the difference in your body from the first time you tried it. We came to try their treatment because I had read so much about it. Very knowledgeable about Ayurveda and other therapies. We had a whole body deep tissue massage and a Kiri herbal treatment with hot oil. To the lovely staff and the lovely setting, The decorations are very calming and relaxing.
Also recommend trying the lunch Very, Very, Very tasty food, especially the coconut rice
Compared to other Ayurveda clinics, the price is relatively high, but the quality and cleanliness of the facility make it worthwhile.
A minor point. Bring your towel and shampoo if you want to bathe following the treatment.

Stayed for two nights at this hotel and our stay was more than pleasant. Rooms were cozy although it would’ve been a 5/5 if it wasn’t for the uncomfortable beds ( too hard ). Basically felt like laying on a table with a thin matress on.
I highly recommend eating dinner here. We ordered a ton of different dishes ( we are 5 people ), and nothing disappointed. The breakfast could’ve been better since the milk was almost never cold and the coffee was bland.

This place guarantees a lovely ambience, location and food. On the downside,the food is priced high and no alcohol is served. You need to visit this place in the evening before sunset and wait till the lights are lit up to enjoy the place the most.

The hotel is arranged around an enclosed courtyard setting, with plenty of greenery and shade; and its restaurant overlooks the harbour. It is extremely well located in relation to the waterfront, restaurants and the ferry terminal. The guest accommodation is on two levels; with a sitting out area for each room along a long covered verandah. We had an upstairs room, which was spacious and also we felt was the preferable option, as one was able to view the surroundings below, without being disturbed by passing guests and other visitors. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. They were able to make recommendations and also organised a harbour cruise from for us from the hotel dock - which we enjoyed tremendously. The food in the restaurant was well cooked, varied and very tasty.

The rooms are very basic, but completely fine. There are even fans on the veranda outside your room, which makes it a good place to keep cool! The setting of their restaurant, facing the water, is great and we had the best battered prawns there. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our 2 nights there were very enjoyable!
