We started our tour of India at Loder House and it made a great start. The staff were very kind helpful friendly. We were picked up at the airport (easire than battling for a taxi) and about an hour later arrived at Koder House (traffic!). From the outside oder House looks a bit daunting, but inside its a lovely airy...

Ideally situated to explore the sights of Fort Cochin. The hotel has been created from a substantial house and so offers spacious rooms. A portrait of the impressive original owner, Samuel Koder, over looks thedining room. A reminder of the interesting historical connection with Kerala's old but now almust extinct Jewish community. Although the bathrooms may need a litle updating...

We were expecting so much more from this place based on reviews here. We have no horror stories, just a general feeling of "We payed this much for this?". For twice the charm two doors done for half price try Tower House- so much better. Koder House's bathrooms were the biggest minus- they need maintenance ASAP. The water doesn't drain,...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights as part of our honeymoon. The hotel is located right near the Chinese fishing nets in Fort Kochi, and the location is perfect for exploring the fort area. The rooms are large and have great period furnishings in them, and towels/sheets/toiletries are of the standard you would expect from a place...

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. We ended our trip here and were welcomed by wonderful staff and a beautiful hotel. The rooms are perfectly furntished, spotlessly clean and with a great breakfast included and a spa on site, everything you want is available. It was extremely successful in matching wonderful customer service by having staff including the owner always...

We were earlier booked in Old Harbour Hotel, right next door to Koder House, but due to some goofup, the booking fell thru. The guys at Old Harbour suggested staying here, and even tho it was way down on the tripadvisor list, we decided to go for it. When we reached the hotel, we were a little disappointed with the...

We really enjoyed our stay at Koder House. We had a room (suite) on the First Floor. The four poster bed provided the best night's sleep we had anywhere in Kerala (or any other hotel for that matter). We loved the room, which was spacious and light with lovely period features. The bathroom was very well appointed with both shower...
