We didn’t stay here, but stopped by every afternoon for drinks and snacks at their restaurant overlooking the pool and gardens. The hotel is very near the Chinese fishing nets and a world away from the hustle and bustle of Fort Kochi. Service is very good and the ambiance is relaxing.
Superbly run and with the best food of our tour of Southern India. The upstairs room was superior and well worth the extra cost being spacious and furnished in colonial style. A veranda overlooks a pretty courtyard. The garden attractive where one can eat.
Spent 4 days here on a tour of southern India and the place is faultless; terrific accommodation, enthusiastic well trained staff, the garden and pool are a delight; attention to detail is impressive and we felt more like family visitors than paying guests.
We stayed 3 nights at the start of our kerala trip. Arriving early ( about 9am) from uk via Dubai our room was available which was most welcome. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant garden by the pool was superb. The hotel is full of colonial character and is perfectly located for exploring Kochi. Brilliant for a laid back stay
I loved this hotel; the location is perfect close to the Chinese fishing nets, the ambience of the hotel is lovely. The food was great and we ate dinner there all the time. Our room was large and airy and the bed was comfy. Very helpful staff and they have a centralised tipping policy which makes life very easy.
