I recently returned for my third visit to this hotel, and I thought it was about time I set out a review. The staff are very accommodating and the service is excellent, the surroundings are simply stunning - the detail which has gone into creating a clean yet colonial ambience to the rooms is lovely. The garden is the highlight...

Sadly we only had one night in this hotel and we arrived late so didn't get the chance to try the swimming pool which looked fabulous. Everything about this hotel is quality; the staff, the rooms, the location and the food. We had dinner in the garden, the ambience was beautiful, as was the food. Breakfast in the dining room...

The hotel is an old colonial building that has been restored. It is located in the heart of Ft. Cochi. The garden is shaded by trees and has a swimming pool. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly and the decor is old school. The service is very good. A great place to relax in the heart of hustle...

Staying here fulfilled our hopes of experiencing a colonial hotel in Kerala. We had a garden room with an open bathroom behind. This did concern me a little at first because I feared I'd get bitten where one would hate most to be bitten. BUT, I soon changed my mind as I was able to shower under the stars. The...

Fantastic stay in one of the garden cottages, great decor in the room with outdoor bathroom at the back. Very nice pool within the main garden. Service in the hotel and restaurant was excellent. Location just around the corner from the Chinese fishing nets and a short walk from other sites in Fort Cochin. Very comfortable sleep and great breakfast....

This tastefully restored, colonial building, in the heart of Cochin, has lovely gardens shaded by large trees and contains a very nice, rectangular swimming pool (15m?). The rooms were large, functional and comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly, particularly the manager. We ate our evening meal in the beautifully, decorated courtyard. The service was very good as was the...

We are a family of 5 and all of us loved staying at the old harbour hotel. Great location. Wonderful staff including sukesh (manager) and Rahim the head chef (best breakfast ever!) who made us feel so welcome. Great swimming pool too and would recommend to anyone.

What a treat! This hotel is simply magical, especially with the beautiful fairy lights all lit up in the garden at night. The staff couldn't be more helpful, the food is divine, and our kids really enjoyed playing in the hotel pool all afternoon. We stayed in garden facing rooms which were large and quiet - 2 nights here just...

The warm welcome at reception is a perfect start to a perfect stay. While the room was relatively simple it was spacious and clean. We were on a side street so the occasional motorbike would pass. If you are sensitive to noise ask for another room or wear earplugs. I found it to. E a nice authentic addition to the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the heart of ancient Fort Cochin, Kerala, a place that exudes history and culture, is the 'Old Harbour Hotel.'
