It is a little challenging to find but a few alleyways gets you there in the end. Not quite as fancy as the price and emails would lead you to expect (in comparison to other places we'd stayed at in Kerala) but perfectly comfortable and friendly. It was also the new years period so we were also grateful to find a quieter place tucked away from the city centre. Walking distance to most places. We unfortunately didn't get a chance to do a cooking class (but should have based on the other reviews!)

We took a cooking class with Rosy. Francis welcomed us with a great non alcoholic drink and did the service. We were asked before what we would like to cook, so we requested vegetable and fish dishes. Kochi is well known for the seafood. We were not disappointed as we cooked fish, calamari, prawns and vegetable. We had more than enough to eat. We learned about the spices and ingredients that make Kerala food so delicious. Coconut under all its forms is certainly one of the ingredient that makes the difference. We would definitely recommend this cooking class. It is well located in Fort Kochi and I am sure it very quiet for those who sleep there.

This beautiful homestay is conveniently located a short walk from the centre of Fort Kochi. The welcome is warm and genuine and the food is exceptional. Make sure you take a healthy appetite with you. Room and outdoor seating area were very comfortable and painlessly clean . Would definitely return if we get the chance.

Francis took us to his favoured fish and vegetable suppliers where we purchased the ingredients for our cooking class. Rosie showed us how to prepare 3 delicious courses and we were amazed at the freshness of flavour in each dish so different from curries at home. Francis is going to email us the recipes so hopefully we can repeat the magic at home
