Everything about this hotel was excellent. It was right on the price. The location is convenient and quiet. Close to the ferry and the fishing nets, and not a long walk (5 min.) to the main tourist drag, without the hassle of touts outside your door. The room was extremely comfortable, with the best bed we have slept on in...

We stayed in Fort Inn seven nights. It is a nice place to stay. Close to the Ernakulam ferry station and not far from other Kochi attractions like Chinese Fishing Nets. Leena, the manager, is a very kind and pleasant lady. Ask her to prepare you a dinner and you'll have a different view about the Kerala style food. She...

A lovely way to travel in smaller areas of India. This home stay was pleasant and delightful. Close to small shops and restaurants and near the water. Very easy to walk everywhere or take the boat across the water for spa treatments. We stayed 6 nights. If you are not used to Indian style bathrooms, the shower and toilet are...

We arrived in Fort Kochi on Saturday 4th May on the ferry from Ernakulam. We had no idea where we were going and so followed everyone else as we hoped it would lead to some sort of town centre. We had massive rucksacks on and had already walked a fair distance so were visibly knackered. Suddenly we were accosted by...

We didn't get to stay at this inn but were fortunate enough to experience the friendliness and warmth of the lovely couple that manage it, Linda and Thomas. On a night that was difficult to navigate the area of Fort Kochi due to power blackouts and the fact that it was Good Friday, they took us in off the street....

My husband and I generally prefer the countryside to towns, but wanted somewhere central to stay in Fort Kochi for one day and booked through Kence from Eco Trails Kerela. We arrived at night after a 45 minute drive from the airport and if you have not been to India before the street is it is in looks by UK...

This one is a beauty , It is such a refreshing change to get some one like Linda in a tourist region who is so happy to help and arrange things from delicious breakfast of idly or a sumptuous spread of dinner to an Enfield motor bike for a day . Linda was able to organise anything without being intrusive...

“The best looking room is the ground floor extreme left. Stayed there twice. Pic attached. Though this makes it noisy too since its bang on the road which sees a lot of traffic. Autos horns can get on your nerves if you are not a morning person.”

“Grab a room upstairs off the balcony.”

“They are all of the same high standard, but the room at the back is likely quieter as its not overlooking the road. The power can be intermittent, as with everywhere in India, but they have a back up generator that they start up soon enough.”

“The double bedroom with AC doesn't have a king/queen bed. It's 2 beds joined together. . So may not be comfortable, esp. for people with bad backs. Extra bed - 500 Rs”
