Our 4th stay here. A wonderful welcome from Anu and Aniamma(Mummy!) This is such a calm and relaxing place - nothing to do but watch the birds, the boats and eat the most delicious food. All the staff are a delight. Spent my birthday here complete with surprise birthday cake! Had great fun with other guests telling stories of Indian...

Arriving by punt across the river sets the scene for this peaceful spot. An ideal place to watch the Keralan back waters drift past your door and to enjoy the magical cooking that keeps on coming. We particularly enjoyed the sunset cruise and drifting past the Chinese fishing nets, spotting kingfishers and eagles. The cottages were a joy with acres...

We just came back from a wonderful trip to Kerala. We spend 2 night in Philipskutty's farm, with our daughter (5 years) and we loved it! Anu, her family and their staff took very good care of us, the home cooked food was absolutely delicious and they even made special food for our daughter, who still needs to get used...

A perfect stay from the first minute to the last. This place is a truly gem in Kerala, a must stay if you have the budget. Everything there is absolutely amazing: the location (only place on this green island, accessible only by boat, the arrival at the farm is an attraction it itself), the food (the best we had during...

Philipkuttys is a quiet, comfortable homestay with excellent food. It provided a gentle couple of days, savouring the beauty of the Backwaters before returning to the UK. Unlike most of the other places that we stayed at in S.India, the other guests at the homestay were largely European. The spicing of the food reflected that I think - it was...

We visited here for lunch. Wonderful location approached by boat and greeted by the owner and her family. We were invited to wonder around the farm looking at the various plants and vegetables while the lunch was being prepared. The food cooked by the family is interesting and absolutely delicious. A lovely relaxing venue, a unique experience and absolutely wonderful...

My husband and I just finished 2 nights of our honeymoon at the farm. This place is seriously perfect and breathtaking. We were so sad to leave and felt we could have spent all our honeymoon there! The rooms are lovely, big and clean with views that bring so much tranquility and are great for nature lovers. The food--unreal! Anu...

This was the first place we stayed on our trip to Kerala. In many ways I wish it had been the last as it set the bar incredibly high. The rooms are wonderful - full of character - clean & comfy. The location is magical & the food absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend. Our kids were 14, 12, 7 &...

This is a remarkable place to stay. You arrive by boat which takes you across the waterway with the farm spread out on the opposite bank. Greeted on arrival by the owner Anu and her children. The villas are excellent beautifully designed and very very comfortable ... even the wifi worked most of the time in the room. Separate lounge...

From the moment of booking this home stay, I felt confident that it was going to amazing. Anu's communication through email was great and very helpful. Then as soon as we got on the boat across the lake to Phillipkutty's farm, we felt like we had reached paradise. The cottages were beautifully decorated and gave us a lot of space...
