I really liked the place. We spent three relaxing days there. Our room was on the top floor, it was very clean and comfortable; quite spacious comparing to other places we stayed in Kerala, with a nice balcony. There is a beautiful garden. The choice of food was quite limited, but very good. Middle Eastern platter was just amazing! Chrissie,...

The travel consultants who choose this place as a 3 star deluxe hotel must be mad. The only reason they choose this place is to cut cost. MY wife and her sisters arrived here and found this place haunted. They were the only guest. Long stair ways to the rooms. This place is far from a 3 star deluxe hotel....

We booked here based on comments in the Lonely Planet and I have to say I expected more. Our room was functional but sparsely furnished - there were two small bedside tables, a bed and and a rack to put your bag on but nothing else. We got soaked in the monsoon rains and there was nowhere to drape wet...

This place came highly rated on Tripadvisor, but I'll say that this may not live up to that many expectations. For the price, the place could've been more comfortable. It is located a little off the main road that leads to the Periyar Tiger Reserve, but is easy to locate if you follow the sign posts. The entrance is small,...

We stayed 3 nights in the family room with our two kids. It was more like an apartment with a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom with a nice hot shower. The only thing that would have been nice to have, was a a kettle and perhaps a small fridge. We had a nice view of the...

We started out on a bad note because I wired money for a deposit from the US and they wanted me to pay their transfer fee which I wasn't going to do and they relented. We had reserved 4 rooms for 4 days. When we arrived we were notified that Chrissy had accidentally overbooked one of the rooms and would...

Our personal view. We just stayed one night here as we were travelling. Dont know if its the right word but 'quaint' springs to mind. For those of you with limited walking ability, there is quite a steep path from the main body of the hotel to the rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the setting enhanced by...

The hotel is a great place to stay. Great value.Chrissie & her staff are very friendly & helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. They are very knowledgeable & can book all trips at excellent prices. The rooms are a good size, brightly decorated & spotlessly clean with a balcony. The cafe is airy & a comfortable place to sit. All good...

We had chosen this hotel because it has many good reviews on a tripadvisor. But I would estimate it no more than on three points. The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of high voltage transmission line. The building with rooms is separately from the building with restaurant. There are a lot of the beautiful plants, all green, the...
