Aayukshetram is not for all. It is meant for introspective guests. I was in awe I must say. My 30 days of treatments were an amazing self aware experience of its own. The place is just pure serene. Close to a small town of nedumangad, tucked away on a muddy road, the ashram like setting is a place when you...

I attended the retreat for the 28 day slimming program early 2013. To include: 2x treatments per day, 3x meals per day, medication and accommodation. Overall i was unsatisfied with the program for many reasons and left after 2 weeks. I've been living in India for 3 months now and would consider myself knowledgable in Ayurvedic treatments, retreats and resorts....

They do their most to make you feel better. Packages include two treatments per day and fullboard veg menu. You will feell beeing taken care of 24/7. Rooms are simple...

I have lived at this location and it is one of the best ayurvedic retreats I have experienced in india. Very very quite and spiritual place for contemplative individuals only, place to find your sould and find your voice while healing yourself. A++

I stayed there for almost 3 weeks. I went there not only for the detox program, but mostly to find "inner peace". Probably due to the off-peak season, the whole resort was almost "empty". I managed to find my "inner peace" there. For those who do not appreciate absolute peace and tranquility, this is not the place as you could...

“Nights are quite cool in fact so a non-aircon room with an overhead electric fan is actually OK. Take the corner rooms as they come with windows on 2 sides of the walls. This offers better ventilation. I personally preferred the corner room on the first floor.”
