We (my wife and I) stayed at Mango Villa for one night during our 3-day visit to Varkala in December 2014. The place is run by a lovely Belgian lady Vincienne, who has been running this villa / home stay for about 5 years. Vincienne was very warm, made us feel very welcome and gave us some invaluable advice on...

Spent a fantastic week at this guest house, owner was very accommodating, showed us some quick hot spots on main cliff front when we arrived late after long train journey. Also organised a tuk tuk for our departure to save carrying bags to main Taxi stand. Great location in quite back streets off main cliff front, it is quite dark...

My girlfriend and I were in Varkala for only one night and Mango Villa was the perfect place to stay. Vinciane was super friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early as we'd arrived on the night train. The place is only a five minute walk to the clifftop bars and restaurants but it's still very quiet. Although...

Lovely little guesthouse. Not a hotel so won't have any real hotel amenities (like a restaurant, etc) but rooms are large and clean (no TV), bathrooms are also big. Nice balcony/patio area outside each room with chairs for relaxing. Owner is very nice and friendly. Wi-fi is included, but quite spotty (keeps logging out), and hot water also not too...

The Belgian lady who owns this homestay is lovely! Super accommodating, she even leaves a phone for guests to use. Beautiful rooms with balconies and lovely landscaping. Great place to stay! Siva is a yoga instructor who lives close by who gives great classes at sunrise and sunset.
